Beautiful rolling hills, nice place to hike in a light rain or on a sunny day. The Tri-Valley really doesn’t get recognized the beautiful trails we haver here. These trails offer a very different landscape that is very beautiful and a good place to paint.

I promise not to complain about the mud. One should expect chewed up muddy ground in cattle country after a multi day bout of rain. The trail was very passable considering. Likewise a review in August would likely complain, I mean point out, dried brown hills, heat and rattlesnakes. Being January, The views were rolling green hills to one side, an overlook of homes on the other. The trail was wide and varied as far as elevation. The cows kept their distance. Don’t take selfies with the cattle kids... this trail isn’t a petting zoo. It was a nice walk with convenient trail heads throughout the area. I imagine it’s great for a jog or a dog walk too.
