Was great to see such an amazing life saving piece of equipment up close. Was astonished at how much these boats and machines cost, with no public funding. Get behind this organisation and go and support them by visiting and buying something in the gift shop!!

Stopped here as the door was open and a volunteer came out of the small shop and chatted to us for 20 minutes or so.
Very knowledgeable about the boat, history of the station and showed us some remarkable photographs from years ago.
Stop, have a look and buy something or make a donation.

Thought I would pop my head in here for a look drive past it enough, well very interesting and a lovely sea side atmosphere , very well looked after and a must visit, but make sure u leave a small donation 👍

My son wanted to see this lifeboat whilst visiting Dungeness, it was a great site to see in the shed, the boat just fits.

Saw the lifeboat station was open, and was so glad we called in. Saw the new up to date boat. On site staff were so friendly and helpful, told us all about the boat and station, and about the crew members have been awarded medals for bravery, past and present. Love the history these guys tell. Lovely little on site shop. Brought a nice logo shirt to help there much needed funds. Can't thank these guys enough for what they do. Do go in if your near by.

A great visit with very informative attentive attendant both in the shop and on the lifeboat. the station was open on easter sunday, with 2 attendants, and the shop was also available, another magnet to my lifeboat stations collection.

Wow what a place to see the up to date lifeboat the staff where first class and talked to us all about the boat and what they do

I’ve been visiting the Lifeboat Station since I was young and always make time to pop in and have a look at the incredible boat every time I visit Dungeness. The volunteers/staff who look after the whole operation are all wonderful and always ready to stop and chat about the fab lifeboat and the work the crew do. I have had many a fascinating conversation and always leave with a smile because of it!
There is a small but well stocked shop (I always manage to find something I need to buy!!) and the boat and exhibition that goes with it are very informative and interesting. I’d give this place a higher score if I could!
Keep up the amazing work saving lives and making people aware of the cause. It will be a charity that I will always talk about specifically because of the Dungeness Lifeboat Station.

I visited here specially after hearing good things. It is very easy to find (inside the nature reserve I think)and there is parking outside.
There is a small, but well stocked shop, some great views.
The highlight was seeing the Shannon lifeboat and its tractor - it was the first Shannon to go into active service.
The station is packed full of history and information.

We were visiting Dungeness and went to the Life boat station and they had a great open day, stalls, refreshments. Everyone was so interesting. It was well worth the trip. We learnt so. I have about the work of the RNLI
