We visited this place while staying with friends in the nearby district, on a; fine weekend in November. The hosts gave us a warm welcomed, showed us around the beautiful garden and explained how they made lavender oils. Well worth a visit, especially if you like gardens.

If you are not in a rush, nice easy drive to Crystal Brook Lavender Farm. Signage to the farm could be better.
The workshops provided interesting and useful tips on cooking, health and other subjects.
Food was nice and simple but perhaps a bit steep in price.

This lavender farm is set out in the beautiful NSW highlands. It is difficult to give affair review of the place, as it had recently been devastated by a severe snow storm, but normally one might expect to see lavender and several small ornamental gardens. For our visit, the best part was the generous Devonshire Tea served in a special function centre. There would be casual seating for some 50 people here in a room lined with interesting photos and paintings and two large tapestries. The lady of the house spoke at some length about the farm, and about her travels. There is a small shop with various lavender products. We enjoyed our afternoon visit.
