‪This museum has wonderful display of unique aircraft. Included were a few star wars one for fun too. The B1 lancer was absolutely incredible to see.‬

‪Interesting displays for aviation fans‬

‪There is plenty to see for aviation fans. Would have been nicer to see some more recent aircraft. Museum was a bit dated and certain areas and displays could be improved. Entry fee is lao a bit high for what the museum has to offer. Good amount of history information if you have time to read and watch the movie.‬

‪Great air & space museum‬

‪Great couple of hours at this aviation museum. Great aircraft on display and in great condition. Good information on each a/c and associated armament. The B1A Lancer inside and B52 outside are the centerpieces for the museum but the great display of postwar Airforce and Navy jets really shine.‬

‪Great museum for air and space fans‬

‪This was bigger than we imagined. Very interesting. There is a flight simulator ride which is $12.50 extra. This is outside the city. We took an Uber. There a beer garden and restaurant next door.‬

‪Nice little air museum‬

‪This is a great little aerospace museum, tucked away in a Denver metro neighborhood. My colleague and I stopped on our way to the airport to burn a few hours and we could easily l have spent more time there than the 3+ hours we spent. They have some great aircraft displays, including a couple of Star Wars props, one of which had a working R2D2 from the movies. I loved that they had not one, but 2 displays on WASPs, Women Airforce Service Pilots. Having been in the aerospace industry for a few decades and having lived near the FL Space Coast during the days of the space shuttle program, it was really interesting to see all the ties and contributions Colorado has made to the air and space industry. This is definitely worth a stop!‬

‪A nice little flight museum. Features a good selection of aircraft. I especially enjoyed the selection of nuclear weapons and the flight simulators(extra cost).‬

‪Spent an extra night in Denver to see this and it was worth it!‬

‪We were back and forth on visiting, but in the end decided to go for it... glad we did. So many exhibits you could spend mulitple days here. This was day 9 of a 10 day trip to Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon, and our 9 year old puts this as the highlight of his trip (Topgun Maverick probably helped with that). If in the Denver area make this a priority to visit if you even a little bit have interest in aviation. It is housed in an old Airforce hanger if that gives you any idea of the size.‬

‪Nice Overall View of Aircraft.‬

‪We stopped here as a place of interest and found it to be very interesting. We explored on our own and then joined two tours that were very informative. Lots of experienced tour guides and even if you never served in the military, it was very interesting. Tickets are fair priced for what you get and all 3 of us said it was better than expected. Definitely worth a stop.‬

‪Alot of Great warbirds, even some rare ones‬

‪Was in town after three days down in COS at Air Force Academy grad week, and a great way to end our trip before boarding at DEN. The hangers are stocked full of mostly WW2 and later aircraft, even some interesting civilian craft. Docents everywhere who are willing to share their knowledge and even personal stories of some of the unique ac. My son and I have toured dozens of museums, and this facility has alot of unique and different (some even rare) craft not seen elsewhere. Took 2-3 hrs, and wear comfortable walking shoes, dont fly by this one.‬

‪Fun afternoon!‬

‪We needed something to do for the afternoon that didn’t cost a lot of money and was near Aurora. Our daughter chose this from a list online. The people who worked there were very knowledgeable and helped us as we walked through all the exhibits. Most of them were interactive which our teenage grandsons enjoyed! We adults did also. I a 72 year old Granny got into some kind of spinning contraption, got all strapped in, and then was spun around and upside down to see if I would be able to deal with the possible disorientation that might happen in a plane. One grandson tried it too. He’s actually considering becoming a pilot. He did well on the simulators, in fact, on one of them, the retired Air Force pilot who was watching him said he was probably the best first timer he’d worked with!
It’s not always you can find activities that grandparents, parents and grandsons can all enjoy!
Thanks to all the staff there!
