This was one of the best escape rooms we've done! It was challenging and well done. The theme was fun and really well thought out. We did this during the Covid 19 pandemic and all attempts for cleanliness and social distancing were in place to make us feel safe. We did the Medieval themed room. We escaped with 2 seconds to spare!

We visited for our anniversary, and tried our hands at the Escape from the Machine room.
It was amazing!
The detail was phenomenal, and the puzzles fun and challenging.
We are looking forward to returning for another room soon! :)

Great attention to detail...the room we did was a lot of fun... Traveling with teens and they had a blast!

A friend and I wanted to try this for the first time. We were warned it would be hard for just the two of us, but staff there were awesome. Helped us when we got a little stuck. We did not escape the room, but had a blast solving puzzles. We will definitely be back to try their other escape room! So fun!

I took a group of friends and coworkers here recently and we had a blast. We played Escape the Time Machine, a steampunk adventure that spanned a large game space with different passages and unique items that felt very much within the period of the game. It really helped bring the story to life.
The in character briefing was also among the best pre game introductions I've experienced. Nothing but excellent comments from my team, if you're remotely interested in steampunk or just want to play a good escape room, this is an easy decision for an hour of fun.

Fort Collins Escape Room set a inviting tone from the moment we arrived and received our pre-adventure briefing. The distingué Sir James dressed in Victorian finery explained the mission of Escape from the Machine: a 19th century time traveler needed our help to find a serum and send it to the past to save his ailing wife. The time traveler's study was handsomely staged with period furnishings, and the puzzles included riddles, ciphers, observation challenges, mechanical puzzles, and operational tasks. Most elements of the experience are accessible to novice escapists. The room contains a good amount of searching. You'll learn what's off limits in the briefing, but beyond that ... be thorough.

We had a group of about ten. We did some research about Escape Rooms in general and had some tips. Talk talk talk. Everything is important. Try everything. The staff helped when we struggled as long as we were trying and getting close. We solved the exit with about five minutes to spare. Great time.

Mission to Planet X is yet another high quality, engaging, thought provoking game from the Fort Collins Escape Room mind (maybe better than Escape the Machine). This game definitely needs a group of 4+ to play! As seasoned gamers, we were seriously challenged by this game (in a good way). We made it out with just 7 minutes to spare!
While there's nothing jumpy or scary in this game, it is a little creepy (I mean, you're on a space mission to another planet), so this might not be the best one for the faint of heart or young children.
Chris and the wonderful staff at FCER make this more than an escape room - this is an interactive, theatrical experience second to none.
The only thing we want changed is for them to have more space so they can have more than 2 games built at a time.
Loved it! I strongly recommend you try this one (but maybe not if it's your first escape room).

The guy who owns this escape room used to design haunted houses. While the escape rooms aren’t scary, they have extremely elaborate props and sets like you would expect to see in an upscale haunted house. The clues were extremely well thought out and the game was very interactive. We had 7 adults plus an 11 and 13 year old and we were able to escape with 7 minutes to spare. We did the alien room and I would totally do the other room when we go back to Fort Collins again.

It was really fun, I wean there for my birthday with some friends, but the clues were impossible to find so it made it less fun. They were just too hard and you felt kinda defeated when you leave.
