‪I purchased an epic single day pass that I was certain covered my area, Colorado, ya know, where vail is located. Later, it seemed like that was no longer the case. This happened to my friend's wife, which is why I looked into it in the first place, so probably not that uncommon of an issue. I was unable to see where I could use my pass by signing into my account online. How is that not the primary info provided? So I called. They couldn't find that information either. I went in a few circles, getting transferred back and forth, with mostly people that literally the worst phone quality I've ever experienced. It sounded like they were in crowded helicopters. Long story short, they were unable to refund, upgrade, or help in any way despite the pass being completely unused. There are so many easy solutions to so many of these terrible issues. I will never buy another epic pass. I will pay double or triple on plain lift tickets to avoid this company.‬

‪DON'T PURCHASE IF YOU WANT TO END UP CHANGING PLAN. Very unhelpful, no flexibility, several call to be read the same script.

EPIC is a joke and can't help.‬

‪Not sure if the intimate and upscale feel have anything to do with it, but Beaver Creek lived up to its reputation. From the friendly staff welcoming you to the resort, to the apres cookies, to the multiple slope side dining options, Beaver Creek is top notch. Spent 6 days in vail and headed out to BC to finish off our vacation and it is definitely a notch above Vail. ‬

‪I wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering the Epic Pass for my son. These passes are not cheap, the one we purchased cost about $600. All of the experiences I have read about are what we have also experienced. The pass never comes, you can only get someone in the Philippines when you call the area code 970 phone number, chat is no better, and they keep telling you that they have sent it and that it will arrive next week. But it never comes. It's ski season now and it still has not arrived. I would urge anyone considering it not to bother buying the pass, you will likely have the same terrible experience we did. They will not even give refunds, they just tell you that you can go and get a lift ticket at the window, but isn't that why we would pay for the pass? For the convenience of avoiding the lift ticket line? Don't bother with this, it's not worth the hassle.‬

‪no one will send my pass. when you call, someone in the Philippines says they will mail it in 7-10 days. they won't express delivery. They take $870. and don't deliver the pass. Good Luck!‬

‪The online ordering process is terrible. After you provide all the information including credit card information you get an error message telling you to call the 800 number...

You call and have to wait a long time to be assisted over a terrible call quality line. I could barely understand half what the guy was saying.

Over the phone I was told to create an account online (which I tried unsuccessfully). They completed my order over the phone but I could only get the passes mailed to me if I created an account online and sent pictures of the whole family.

I tried to create an account after the attendant instructed me to do so and got an error again... It said I already had one and should reset my password. The link to reset was never received. Then after some time my wife (different email address) got an email with the link. She tried to reset the password but got an error and instructions to call the 800 number (again...).

Summary: terrible customer service and I'll need to wait in line at the resort to retrieve my passes on site...‬

‪DO NOT PURCHASE AN EPIC PASS

this may have been the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with in my entire life. There was complications on my account as I could not view my pass on my account. So I called to sort it out. First off, you could not hear the person on the other side as it was so loud even with air-pods in. Then the person on the other side of the phone could not speak and or understand english to a degree in which a customer service representative should. When I explained the situation she created a completely different account for me and transfered all my info to that one without informing me. This only made the problem worse as I was no longer apart of my household in the epic pass account. Spent an hour on the phone trying to sort it out and nothing was fixed in the end. I now have two separate accounts that I am gonna need to deal with when i arrive in person. On top of it, just to make put the cherry on the cake, my phone bill came in and I have an hour of overage charges from the phone call. Anyways highly suggest not to purchase an epic pass.‬

‪Just awful. Booked a 5 day pass online. Went to book a 3-day pass for my wife and kids....website said it could not process and I needed to call. Called to add the 3- day for wife and kids...they ended up adding a 3 -day pass to my wife and kids but also me! On top of my already purchased 5 -day. Called again to have them cancel the 3-day pass booked for me. They correctly cancelled my 3-day pass AND then also cancelled my wife's 3-day pass!!! Called again--very hard to understand the agents...one hung up on me after I said I wanted to talk to a supervisor when she told me I could no longer get the pricing special on my wife's pass because it is now past Oct 9th. Finally got a fantastic agent that listened, problem solved, and rectified the situation to reinstate her 3-day pass at the price I initially paid!! Vail needs to do better for the amount of money people are investing in their product.‬

‪Unless you are 100% certain that you will be skiing every single year for the rest of your life - DO NOT BUY THEIR PASS.

We bought the annual pass - there is NO WAY to go online and cancel auto-renewal or delete your payment information - and then my husband ended up tearing a disc in his back halfway thru the season.

We called and filed the claim for a partial refund for the season and asked them to cancel the auto-renewal since we were not able to.

We received a partial refund - but they DID NOT cancel the auto-renewal as requested. For FOUR MONTHS we have been going through this battle. Even though we asked them to cancel the auto-renewal we still have to go through the 'epic coverage' for the refund and he has to go back to the doctor AGAIN ($100 to see a specialist) to get up to date paperwork stating he can't use the pass this year. No way around it - supposedly.

Seeing if I can claim a fraudulent charge instead. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!‬
