‪The temple is hardly 2.5 kms from Narayan Sarovar. It has observed that the Temple is of Lord Shiva. A beautiful temple is on the height near the seashore .

All the road ends here. Since Pakistan Border is not so far, say around 40 kms from the spot, observed military movement in the entire vicinity.

One have to climb certain steps to reach to the temple. A beautiful temple found very neat and clean.

Since the temple is on height, one can have a good photographs of all the side.

It is highly recommended to visit Koteshwar Temple when at Kutch, Gujarat. It's Must visit place.‬

‪It's located around 3hrs/170kms from Bhuj. It's located a little higher than d sea, so the view is beautiful from here. It's amazing to see it from d sea side too. I wish there was more water near d temple, it was all dry when we went, nevertheless beautiful. Its border area, so military presence is there and they dont allow u beyond a certain point. Its a beautiful, peaceful place, lots of seating area available, to just relax. Highly recommended ‬

‪Koteshwar is a small village and the location of an ancient Shiva temple. It located near the mouth of Kori Creek, in the west of Kutch district of Gujarat, India.

In past, the temple was almost entirely cut off from the mainland by tidal creeks but now is connected by road.[4] Koteshwar Shiva is said to be the Bhairava of Hinglaj Mata residing at Hinglaj. The virtuous devotees are therefore recommended to visit Koteshwar after they have visited Hinglaj Mata

The earliest mention of the place can be found in writings of Chinese traveler Hiuen-Tsiang. Hiuen-Tsiang mentioned it as "Kie-tsi-shi-fa-lo situated on the western border of the country close to the river Indus and to the great ocean" of Kutch

‪It was my first visit to Koteswara Mahadev Temple on Akshaya Tritiya day which is located at Koteswar, Motera and around 4-5 kms from 4D Square Mall. A temple with perfect cleanliness, no pollution, an example of sprituality due to low volume develotional songs. Easy darshan of the Shivling and the Priests are so cooperative that they have ensured us to spend maximum time as we wished. The surroundings in the temple premises are excellent and lobbys and gardens are well maintained. The temple appearance is like it is constructed recently. I have not seen a small dust neither in the temple or the sourrendings. Really a Shivtemple where I felt very cal and quite and every individual should cherish the Temple visit.‬

‪During our trip to Kutch Mata na Madh was our last stop.

But while roaming in market area we heard about Narayn Sarovar, A beautiful place on Coastal Border of INDIA.

We thought that when we will get a chance to come back here again & it’s only 56 kms away, why should we miss it & we drop our plan to stay in Mata na madh and move towards Narayan Sarovar,

we reached there by 5:30PM and got accommodation in Valram Vishramdham Located on main road,A very nice place to stay, we got AC room in just Rs.400/- for two + Rs.100 for extra bed. (Check-out 10AM) it’s about to sunset & I don’t want to miss it, but in shifting of luggage we missed it.

On the coast there is an Historic Temple of Shree Koteshwar & Shree Nageshwar Mahadev, we visited that and enjoyed post sunset view, there is one BSF Check Post on the coast and no one has permission to cross that.

There is free Annakshtra (Eatery) running by Narayan Sarovar Trust, we planned to have Prasad over there, the food was ok.

Next day after having Tea & Breakfast I can’t stop myself from visiting Koteshwar again, it’s such a place you can’t explore it by visiting once.

We entirely discover the place and its history. When Lord Shiva was delighted with the worship of Ravana, he gave him a Shiv Linga full of religious power. Lest Ravana should become endless as a result of this advantage, all the Gods united together and conspired to gain the Ling from Ravana through dishonesty, for that Lord Bhrama took face of Cow and fall in mud and start shouting for help, rest of gods act as they are helping, Ravana watch all these and join them for help and while helping by mistake he put the Linga on the ground, but when he return back He found there is one Koti (Million) Lingas, He got confused which one is original, finally he took one of them go on his way and then gods installed original one as a Kotilengeshwar (Now Koteshwar). Still you found so many Lingas around Temple.

Next we visit to Narayan Sarovar Lake a scared place Known for one of the five scared lakes, Panch-Sarovar for Hindus. Sarovar means Lake. These famous Sarovars are Narayan Sarovar, Bindu Sarovar (Sidhpur, Gujarat), Mansarovar (Tibat -China), Pampa Sarovar (Hampi , Karnataka) and Pushkar Sarovar (Rajasthan).

There are different temples inside the main complex, the main Temple of Shri Trivikramraiji. Narayan Sarovar is on right side of the temple. Devotees take a Parikrama (or circulating the main temple) on the walkway prepared on the wall. Narayan Sarovar is a fresh water lake surrounded by sea. Due to absence of rain the lake was dried up and few water was there on dry bed of the lake.
You can stay here for a day or two.

We really enjoyed our trip here, it's worth visiting.‬
