In January me, my wife and friends first time visited white desert its was a very good place, its was amazingly when full moon in the sky at night. You can visit here from end of Oct to March.

I went to Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary. Less than 100 km away from Bhuj, this sanctuary is spread over an area of about 7505.22 sq. km. in the Kutch District of Gujarat. This wildlife sanctuary is considered as one of the largest seasonal saline wetland areas. It is great place to go.

Plan your visit during the Kutch Mahotsav held during December - January. The place comes alive with folk songs, markets and colours. A juvinile atmosphere engulfs the place.

Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Great Rann of Kutch, Kutch district, Gujarat, India, it was declared a sanctuary in February 1986.
It is one of the largest seasonal saline wetlands having an average water depth between 0.5 to 1.5 metres. By October–November each year, rain water dries up and the entire area turns into saline desert. The sanctuary supports wide variety of water birds and mammalian wildlif
As per a television series, National Security by Rajya Sabha TV, the flamingo city is now a dead patch of land and flamingos do not come to breed here
The northern boundary of this sanctuary forms the international border between India and Pakistan and is heavily patrolled by the Border Security Force in India with much of this sanctuary being closed to civilians after the India Bridge at Kala dungar (Black hill), Khavda. Tourists and researchers can only enter here with special permission from the BSF

I was there for 10 days, the surrounding is very dry. Hot & humid weather. Harsh sunrays but still a must visit place.

We have visited this desert sanctuary during black hill visit. It was great experience for us. As we have watched many wild animals like wild donkeys, wolf. But if you visit during summer then it will make you tired due to very much hot environment.

If you want to experience tropical heat with numerous animals around then you should pay a visit here. We visited this place in december when winter is on heights in north india. We wanted to experience some heat and it was a nice tour.

Зверушек тут много - парнокопытных и птичек. Лучше стеречь их у водоёма, благо в сезон дождей тут их полно. Находится "зверинец" на территории Great Rann of Kutch в Гуджарате.
