Experiencing the camel ride was priceless!! The tour guide was very informative. We learned a lot! Weather was nice! Camels very friendly, however I was expecting to see more giraffes since it’s a giraffe ranch. In my opinion it was more like a small zoo but it was fun and for me to ride in the camel was worth every penny!!! I would definitely recommend everyone to visit! Also I was concerned how it would be for me being a large girl but everything was great!!

Took wife and two teenage kids on the Segway tour - little expensive was initial thought but by end of the day - considered it to be the best value purchase of the trip by a distance. advertised as 11-12.30 but this should be taken as guide and as Elena was enjoying her day as much as we all were it went on for longer culminating in a memorable giraffe feeding experience. The segways alone are great fun, but we also learnt loads about all kinds of animals and birds as well as discovering how the safari browser was originally named (maybe)! Thoroughly recommended and because it’s run by a delightful husband and wife team it was also the first ever gift shop we were only to happy to spend some more dollars! Put this on your to do list for sure if want a break from the parks - and if staying around Disney area be prepared to give up the day with travelling, pre tour fun, tour, post tour fun and then great recommendations for where to eat!

Not the friendly place I imagined. Tour was ok. Guided as the owner nartiated and rode his segway talking over our FM station.

An incredibly worthwhile experience. They have an impressive number and variety of animals, and the habitat appears extremely well kept. My wife and I did the Segway tour, and we had the advantage of stepping off and looking at things in detail.
It's a great opportunity for a safari experience just over an hour from Orlando.

A truly incredible experience!! We took a safari on camelback, fed the giraffes, ringtail lemurs, and bongos. You can tell the animals are well cared for based on their appearance and attitude! The camels liked to snuggle and the ringtails took food out of your fingers in the most gentle manner!
The owner and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. This is a MUST!

We booked this as my birthday treat while we were in Florida.
Our sat navigation took us on a bit of a detour to avoid roadworks and traffic and we were running a bit late. I had no signal so couldn't call.
We received a call from a very rude woman who before a.ything else said "you are late and your not rescheduling or having your money back" I told her we were close by and she said you have missed some of the tour and we will try to come and unlock the gate and you can join for a few minutes.
We didn't bother going...what a hateful woman...I only hopes he treats the animals better than she does people.
PLEASE DONT GO HERE
GO TO BUSCH GARDENS WHERE YOU CAN RIDE IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK AMONGST THE ANIMALS AND FEED THE GIRAFFES

Running late for our booked experience ( as a result of faulty satnav and no mobile signal, we were eventually contacted by a staff member who I suggest needs to attend a PR course as soon as possible. Because we were late we were told in no certain terms that we had missed the start of the tour , there was no refund or rebooking ( not that we asked for one ) and their time was very important to them. This contact left us completely shocked and upset. So much so that we turned around and went home. I hope our $ 282.50 comes in handy for them to provide some customer relations training. Wouldn't rebook here if it was the last wildlife zoo in USA.

Had a wonderful Saturday morning on the camel safari & tour of the ranch. There’s a few different ward of getting around the grounds but we chose the camel ride and loved it. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable about all the animals & took the time to answer questions. We didn’t feel rushed like at some of these similar types of experiences you find at the big theme parks. The animals were well maintained & facility was well taken care of as well.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and owners took us on a tour of their property and we were able to feed Giraffes right from the vehicle we were in. They talked with us about the state of Florida, the planet, and animals from all over the world.
It seemed like an expensive day - but I would do it again in a heartbeat!

The favorite parts of our experiences were the Camel ride and the premier Giraffe experience.
I cannot say enough nice things for the owners and staff of the Giraffe Ranch. Personable, knowledgeable, take time to explain what animals we were seeing and why they were at the Ranch. I got lightheaded in the sun and Elaina was right there with some Gatorade and a ride in the truck until I was able to rejoin my family in time for our camel ride. Thank you all at the ranch for giving our family a wonderful day.

The cost you pay is to help them maintain their animals and their property for the animals.
We did the excursion where we were able to feed the Giraffes and while it was a good bit more than $75.00 per person, we left feeling like we got our money’s worth and are planning our return trip already.

this is described as a working game ranch. Does this mean that the animals are raised for hunting. If not what does Game Ranch mean. I dont want to go anywhere that supports hunting

NO!! This is a working ranch. They have animals that they take care of each day. There is nothing hunted on this sanctuary.

I don’t know about the Sr discount, but we were all able to feed a couple of giraffes. Once they warmed up to us, all but one of them came over for food. I guess it’s impossible to say for sure that they will come to the fence to eat, but we fed about 3 of them, with no problem. You can also feed other animals, but they are an added cost. My niece fed Lemurs and LOVED it. And I paid to feed the Rhino, who was very sweet & excited for his watermelon. For him you have to be willing to basically put your whole hand in his mouth & get a little slimy, so may not be for everyone. I thought it was a really cool experience! We had lots of fun there!
We would like to do a tour and also add in a lemur feeding. Is there time restraints for the add-ons or can you do them at any point through out the day?
