f you have not been swung around the circle then you have not properly visited Hollywood Fl. The city of Hollywood was designed by founder Joseph Young. Unique to his design was the incorporation of three large circles of land located along the main boulevard. These circles became the sites of a ten-acre park which was originally named Harding Circle and later renamed Young Circle, a circle for the city hall complex, and the third circle for a military academy. If you have ever driven around the Artspark at Young Circle it is like a roundabout but on steroids. People race around it at high speeds while others frantically try to find the exit off. It's quite an experience if you miss your exit you will be swinging around again.
Inside the circle is a large park where the city holds events. There is no parking in the actual circle so you need to find parking along one of the city streets or in the downtown parking garage. Normally it is not a problem but if there is an event it can be tricky. Inside the park is a bust of city founder Joseph Young, a covered playground, splash fountain, restrooms, visual arts pavilion features live glass blowing demonstrations, salsa dance classes, and an art gallery. An 2,500 guest amphitheater hosts free weekly concerts and events. Currently the city Christmas tree and Hanukkah display is set up here. The circle is the cultural arts heart of the city. It is also favored by the homeless residents of Hollywood. When there is events the police sweep them out but when you visit on your own it is best to keep aware of your surroundings. Other than that the landscaping is lovely and it is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

It has a good playground, a small patch of water streams coming out of the floor, a fountain, nice trees, bike/walking paths, and a glass blowing exhibit during certain days/hours.

Muy moderno y con sustena de celdas solares. Cuenta con auditorios al aire libre y con posta de trote y parinaje. En todo el medio de la us 1 de hollywood. Idela para una tarde diferente. Para niños ideal de 4 a 9 años.

J'y suis allé le lundi soir pour diner et me balader. Le choix de nourriture est super, que l'on ai une faim gigantesque ou une simple envie d'un cornet de frites fraîches.
Pour ma part, j'ai mangé une gigantesque cuisse de dinde, un délice !
Et en dessert, j'ai eu le droit à ma super photo pour Instagram avec une glace superbement décorée :)
Je l'ai mangée en regardant deux artistes travailler le verre dans l'arène du Glass Art situé quelques dizaines de mètres au bout du parc. Un moment génial !
Pour ma part, j'ai mangé une gigantesque cuisse de dinde, un délice !
Et en dessert, j'ai eu le droit à ma super photo pour Instagram avec une glace superbement décorée :)

When I walked through the park there was nothing special going on. It was peaceful and quiet. That might sound weird because there is a lot of traffic all around the circle. To me it’s almost an oasis. You can relax , walk your dogs, take your children to the playground, or watch a concert on the weekend.

Hollywood Florida does an awesome job keeping up this beautiful park. Monday nights Food Trucks offer a great time for those who love to sample mobile feasts. You are a block from downtown hollywood as well where you can have gelato and cafes to top the night off. There is ample parking on the street and the parking structures between Tyler and Polk street. Cheap parking for a great day out.

This is a small recreation area in the center of Hollywood.
If you are in the vicinity is ok to pass by; once a week they have a food truck event.

What exactly is glass blowing!???

An artisan or glass blower is someone that creates glass Christmas ornaments for example using a long hollow tube. As the artisan blows through the tube, it inflates the ball/blob of molten glass into a one of a kind creation. It is very interesting to watch and the finished product is beautiful. I'm sure if you google it, there are videos available for watching.

Is the splash pad open year round? We will be there Feb 3-10. Hoping the kids can use the splash pad.

It was open when I was there in Jan. But the area isn’t very safe. Id only take kids if you’re desperate for an activity. Take them to the Broadwalk instead.

Are you willing to walk 1 mile or a little bit more?? IF SO, then it is walkable, however, there is also a trolley that for U$1 each you can take at Margaritaville (close to the hotel) and it will take you to the Park.
How far is ArtsPark from Historic Hollywood Beach Resort? Walkable?

This is in a seedy area. Lots of transients hang there. Park is free. A little too far to walk especially in that area. Go early unless going to food truck night. Didn't do that but it is probably OK during that time.
