The splash park is closed right now. No signs regarding why, but I assume because of Covid. But the park is open and the beach is very nice.

I went to play paddleball at the Garfield Courts. They were packed and in immaculate condition. I had a blast getting my butt handed to me and intend to visit again! The included picture is from the 4th floor of the parking garage adjacent. Breathtaking.

What a cool little place for kids! The climbing wall was amazing! Cool, shaded spots for adults watching. A water play spot too. And right next to the beach.

Clean rest rooms , we all enjoyed the big fountain . It definitely is one way to stay cool.had lunch at one of the many picnic tables..and the usuallly is live music...

The people hanging there are sometimes troublesome, old men, taking 3 places on a bench, exposing dirty feet and toes, cigar smokers, and smokers in general, who do not really care where they trow their butts. Besides that the place is great.

I found myself in the afternoon sitting on the wall by the ocean and listening to the wonderful music coming from the band inside the park. The band played everything from jazz music to a Beatles catalog. The singers were very charismatic and played well with the band.The musicians were of all ages and seemed to know each other and they jelled together. You have the beach and the ocean on one side and the grandstand with the band on the other and people watching walking down the boardwalk. All in all It made for a great afternoon and we really enjoyed it.

This park is located at about the 2/3rd point north on the Hollywood Broadwalk. It runs from S. Ocean Drive to the Broadwalk. It consists of a municipal parking garage, handball courts, restrooms, a children's splash pad and a covered area alongside the Broadwalk. The latter is a wonderful place to sit and people watch. The beach area in front is usually the busiest area on the Broadwalk because of the proximity to parking.
A short distance to the right facing the beach are several restaurants.
As others have noted on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 PM a band strikes up and places old time favorites.

Not exactly a green space park. Concrete hand ball courts and pavilion on the beautiful Hollywood broadwalk and beach. Good people watching and fountains to cool off if you dont want to get sandy.

Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-3pm...stop by and enjoy the sound of big band and the great American songbook. Thoroughly loved hearing these folks play with all their hearts, but didn't catch their band name.
