The only person who enjoyed the water park was my three year old daughter. The water was freezing and don’t even get me started on the girl’s bathrooms. The bathrooms were dirty, smelly, and non-maintained. The locks didn’t even do their job right! And in the lagoon pool, this ONE lifeguard kept picking on my 11 year-old telling her to go to the shallow side, when she is 4,7 and knows how to stay afloat in deep areas. Because of this, she was freezing cold and was forced to get ON HER KNEES in the two-feet area. She went to the kiddie-zone with all the slides but that was also hard for her because that pool wasn’t even one foot deep and the floor scraped her legs and arms in both pools. My three-year old was fine only because she was short and young and DID NOT GET BACK ACHES WHEN CROUCHING. This whole thing was a bad waste of some good, thirty dollars. In full honesty, my bathtub could make a better so

I went to a party and i got robbed, someone opened my car and stole my purse. There is no security and it has happen before because they have the warning on the front, they have no security and no cameras in some parts of the park.

Great place for a day trip with the family , some peaceful alone time on your lunch hour or for camping .... trails for walking and biking, workout stations, a kids playground and a waterpark.

Not really much in the way of nature, but nice facilities. Well shaded with large, old oak trees. Dog friendly too.

Lots of oak trees and nice breeze from the lake make this a very pleasant walking place. 2 mile walk around the lake. Water Park for the kids. Lots of shelters for parties. Nice RV park (though next to a railway line). Well maintained.

I grew up going to parks; "TY" holds a special place in my heart above all the others! I now visit with my kid, and he loves it! He suggested we walk there today rather than the beach even! Nature, Tree climbing, fun for everyone including dogs, you can truly creat great child hood and adult hood (smile) memories at this park.... I'm excited for what we can do at the park in the future, as we slowly and safely open back up to our new normal post C19. God Speed and keep safe! (I'm also determined to get an RV and camp out in the back at TY like I see so many families doing... I'm getting the Man to drive the RV, and marry me, and the RV! In which ever order!! ;o)

I had not been to this location in many years, so I was interested in returning. I was in the area, and admission was free on non-holiday weekdays so I stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of wildlife: the most I have ever seen at this location. In just over an hour I saw an abundance of birds (egrets, herons, ibis, wood storks, cormorants, ducks, moorhens, coots), squirrels, and lizards (anoles and iguanas). It is a nice hike around the massive lake, or just to relax under the shade of the abundant oak trees. There had recently been a tropical storm, so the lake had overflowed some areas of the park that had to be detoured around. There were unfortunately a few negatives. Upon arriving I noticed that a homeless person living in a car overflowing with junk had obstructed part of the parking lot with their vehicle and was begging for change with a large sign saying, "We may be homeless, but we are still Christian" Yet no park staff were removing this illegal panhandler. While hiking the trail up a hill, I came close to being run over by a group riding loud motorbikes on the trails and grass around the lake, despite motor vehicles being prohibited on the hiking trails. I observed an employee in a truck eventually stop them and told them more than once to leave, but were ignored and taunted. At one point the employee chased them with the truck, but I don't know why they didn't just call the police to arrest those punks. The third negative was that the shoreline all around the lake was completely littered with trash, yet I saw no employees making any effort to remove it. Despite the negatives, I will still return, and I hope the Broward County Parks & Rec makes changes based on this review.

Large urban parks like this are great. This has large areas of open & wooded lands, as well as a number of amenities for various ages and interests. Somewhat unexpectedly, it has a nice looking RV park with full hook ups. Our local relatives enjoy the jogging trail around the perimeter. I understand that there’s a fee to use the park on the weekend but on a Monday it was mostly empty. I fished around the lake and had one nibble but I attribute that to my lack of skill and the right fly rather than a lack of fish.

What a great county park We Just camped here for four nights. This park has a lot to offer to everyone. Great trails for running and biking. Fishing, Tennis court, and a pool. They have a big pool and small water park for a small fee.
The rv sites are at the back of the park which was well kept. We have a 40’ Rv and tie our Jeep and had plenty of room.
We paid 40 a night which during this time of year down here was a good price.
If your needing quiet. This is not your park. The train tracks run right behind this park and the trains run all day and night. I was not really bothered by this but our neighbors where not to happy with this.
The rv sites are at the back of the park which was well kept. We have a 40’ Rv and tie our Jeep and had plenty of room.

This is an excellent park to attend with family and friends. It is a great place for children's birthday parties, etc. There is a swimming pool, a location for camping, and a water park. There are also many shady spots and it would be a great location for engagement photos.

No, the waterpark has a daily fee. Also, it is closed and I believe they reopen in May. It's only open seasonally.

Today is September 30th, Does anyone know if the parks opened back up to campers?
They need to update their phone message. I love this place but the poor customer communication is a huge deterrent.

Due to hurricane damages and clean up still underway, the park remains without updates for campers. I tried reaching as well and no further information available. Only thing is to continue checking-in as many places are still updating.

It is County Park so no Good Sam discount. The Waterpark is extra. the website has the phone number. Best to check by calling for the latest status.

Why is it when I call I can NEVER reach anyone? Then I get the message that say thank you for holding, yet I get hung up on.... very frustrating and no way to do business...
