This isn’t a traditional beach with sand and volleyball and piers. It’s a nice place to walk along the edge of the ocean. Great place to see the sunset. And there a couple food joints and bars close by for those needs as well. If you’re looking for sandcastles and beach frisbee, this isn’t it. It’s a quaint little area to enjoy the sounds of nature near the ocean.

Not sure why they call it a beach. Not much sand or space to spread out. Not much of a swimming area either...

Nice family area. Clean, well patrolled, fun for kids and good for adults looking for a walk by the beach without driving to Clearwater.

Nice park. It is on the water and you can gaze into the clear water and see fish. Birds on beach. Early morning is nice before crowds come. Very small park.

Love this place. My husband asked me to marry him here. Three months later we were married there at sunrise with all the family present. The notary made an exception to marry us that early. After pictures and opening our gift we all went to the Boulevard Family Resurgent for breakfast.It was also my husbands father's 89th birthday. Was a very memorable day and we stop by here often at the places to eat to reminisce. It will be three years this Oct 3rd 2020

I just love the fact that I can drive right up to beach And within a few feet more I’m in the water which is always sparkling brightly even though it has lots of E. coli in it from what I understand but what the heck it’s fun anyway life’s a gamble it’s a pretty view lots of nice little boats out there as well they probably could run you over if you’re not careful but again what the heck it’s still a nice place and I go there again

Small beach located right next to Sam's beach bar. Nice place to take a walk or get some sun. Great for kids or fishing

We’re staying at a location near the beach and I walked there daily. Picnic tables, soft sand, pavilion, and three great restaurants all in about a couple of blocks. Inn on the Gulf, Sam’s Beach Bar and Ollie’s. Great sunsets at Sam’s, excellent seafood at Inn on the Gulf, and relaxed, down home great food at Ollie’s

We were able to get here just in time to see a wonderful sunset. What a beautiful site.

The name suggests a sandy place to set up a beach chair and stick your toes in the sand. There is a small spit of sand and access to the water, but seriously you wouldn’t want to swim in that water. It’s on the mouth of the canal inter coastal system with boats constantly going by. Not very clean or calm. The rest of the “beach” is walled walkway with pavilions to have a picnic. The walkway isn’t that long either. Positive thing it’s a great place to see a sunset. Sam’s beach bar is right there and a decent place to eat, drink, and watch the gulf. You’ll have to drive a bit to go to a sandy beach on the gulf

SunWest Mines is a great alternative. It’s just a couple miles north of Hudson Beach. It’s always very clean and a great family beach.
Can you fish there?

Yes, but you need a fishing license. You may want to go to a different beach though. Early in July the beach was closed due to excessive fecal matter in the water. You can check the Pasco County website for updated closurer information.
Is there a restroom?

Yes there are outdoor rest rooms. Right next to Sam's Beach Bar. A small child's playground is right next to it. Your typical park type restrooms.
