Another awesome day on the water with Captain Dave! My girlfriend and I try to book at least one trip a year with Captain Dave, and as always, it was a great experience. We both caught a permit. My girlfriend caught a shark. We caught a dozen other fish as well. Captain Dave knows the back country like the back of his hand. He took us to a nice little sand bar where we anchored and had an awesome lunch on the water. Cannot wait to book our next trip!

A few Saturdays ago a friend and i took a day charter with Captain Dave. We caught several Jack Crevalle's had a Tarpon on the line before a large Hammerhead ate him and we caught a Permit that gave one heck of a fight. It was an event filled day to say the least. I will be booking with Captain Dave whenever i am down in the keys. He dosen't dissapoint.

My daughter, her boyfriend and I spent half a day with Captain Dave 12/2/20. Went out in the morning and had a great time. Caught a lot of of fish and each of them caught a Yellow Tail - goal! Went back to the dock where he cleaned them and reccommend a great restraunt that cooked them up fo us. Nothing like fresh fish. Great conversation and great fishing. Highly reccommend!

Landed in Key West at 12:30 PM with my son Nick for a two day fishing weekend with DNA Sportfishing.... On Capt. Dave's boat by 1:45 PM.... Into our first Tarpon (70+ LB) by 2:30 PM on my THIRD cast!!!! Amazing and so exciting!!! Capt. Dave delivered BIG time. I have been on several other fishing charters in pursuit of landing a Tarpon but with no luck. That all ended this weekend. Not only did I catch my first Tarpon, but my son Nick closed out the day landing another Tarpon (100+LB) after over a one hour fight. Capt. Dave's knowledge about this fishery is amazing! We had two solid days of fishing that included catching at least 10 different species of fish. Our trip ended with a nice size Permit. Memorable is an understatement for the experience that we had with Capt. Dave and for being in the beautiful Key West. We will definitely be back to Key West and fish with Capt. Dave again. Thank you again for such a GREAT weekend!!!!

We did a half a day last minute trip with captain Dave, it’s was really awesome, the guy is really knowledgeable and it shows that he love what he is doing. We not only fish, we also saw many turtles, Ray, dolphins, sharks and many more. I recommend it to everyone !

We spent a half day trip with Capt. Dave 6/13/19. He made it fun, interesting and exciting for my wife, 7 and 16 year old daughters, and myself. We saw sea turtles, manatee, tarpon, shark, and many other species of animals in the beautiful waters around Key West. We even got to take a dip on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean! He got each of us hooked onto lemon sharks and we caught more than enough for lunch. Capt. Dave is very knowledgeable about the area and was helpful to my family who has very little to no fishing experience. We will definitely call Capt. Dave again when we visit Key West. Thanks for a great day!

A good friend and I planned a key west fishing trip and got Capt. Dave’s contact info from a family member. After a very disappointing start to the week with a different Key West outfitter with lots of internet publicity, Capt. Dave put us on the fish on Tuesday. We had bent rods for most of our 8-hour trip and ended up catching tarpon, barracuda, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and a grouper. He cleaned our catch back at he marina and said we should just get the restaurant there to cook it for us. 30 minutes Fromm he time we docked we were eating our fish. It was amazing. Capt. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and we will definitely be calling him if we end up back in key west for another fishing trip.

Capt Dave took me and a college buddy out. Put us on 3 Tarpon and much more. We caught as many as we could handle and even dropped us off at a different marina where we could have our fish cooked right after leaving the boat.
Highly recommended for two people and a full day. Cost Dave will put you on the fish.

Awesome. Captain Dave Irwin dedicated his day to finding fish for me to catch. He was extremely successful. I was catching fish nearly all of the time we had a line in the water. It had been a great day. But the trip did not end there. When we were near shore Captain Dave told me to call my girlfriend and tell her to meet us at the Hurricane Hole restaurant and marina where he cleaned the best fish for us. The Hurricane Hole restaurant has BYOF "Bring Your Own Fish" on the menu. We had a great FRESH fish dinner right there on the dock. If that wasn't enough as we were leaving so was Captain Dave. He offered us a boat ride back to our hotel. A wonderful end to a great day.
