Decided to give this park a visit. It was easy to get tickets online, plenty of parking and very clean facilities/grounds. There are trails and paved pathways that would appeal to all levels of activity. The park has performances a few times a day and a separate small enclave with a Euro setting. Enjoyed about a 45 minute stroll about the park.

This is a great place for a nice walk through the gardens. Loved the tower & musical bells. The tower is beutifully built and designed. Has a bit of US history in it. The small ponds have fish and feeders set out so you can feed the fish. The walk is mostly very easy and you can rest along the way on shaded benches. The dinner offers a real nice menu, also beer and wine.

Great time. Gardens beautiful didn’t realize they were playing Taylor Swift on the bells that day! Breakfast was great. Mom and I had great time as always

Beautiful gardens. started to rain mid tour but several areas to wait it out in the garden. We chose to have lunch in the Cafe- very nice . A nice surprise was 4 electric charging outlets for cars- A Tesla (with adaptor) was charging while touring. They allow dogs- I went back of buy a year pass with todays ticket. My visit was shortened by the rain/lighting. Feb/Mar best flowering months I was told. They have a Childrens garden.

I had wanted to visit Bok Tower Gardens for a number of years, but the magnetic draw of all of the attractions in Orlando was always too strong... until a recent 'no parks' visit. What an absolutely beautiful day it was to visit the tower and gardens! I am so glad I made the trip to some of the attractions on the 'fringe' of the Orlando area. The selections played at the both of the carillon concerts I attended were different and each very diverse in their selections. The grounds are very well kept, the cafe selections were delicious, and the gift shop has a very unique selection of wares.
There was a wine tasting event going on the day I was there, and I just wish I had known in advance to buy a ticket to partake! I most definitely will be back - it was such an enjoyable day.

I would have given a 5 but for 2 reasons. First, the map of the gardens is very confusing. The area that it guides you to should be numbered so you can identify where you currently are. Spent 30 minutes on locating one particular area. Second, I was under the impression the gardens were in bloom. Most were not. The majority of the gardens were Florida nature's. Still a great experience with the singing tower the highlight of the day.

Great had scooters and wheelchairs at reasonable prices for use. Grounds clean and pleasant - wish had more types of flowers not just plants- take change- Quarters to feed Koi fish. Amazing views

It was known as "The Singing Tower" in those days. That's why my parents took us to hear the 60-bell carillon on top of what was described as "the most beautiful tower in the world" in the early 1950s. Today, it is called Bok Tower Gardens, a 250-acre garden and bird sanctuary located at 1151 Tower Boulevard, atop Iron Mountain, north of Lake Wales, Florida, 53 miles south of Orlando. Created in the 1920s by Edward Bok, editor of The Ladies Home Journal, the land formerly known as the Bok Mountain Lake Sanctuary and Singing Tower includes a Visitor Center, Pine Ridge Trail, Bok's Pinewood estate now known as El Retiro, the Bok Exedra, the 205-foot-tall tower and gardens. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1993. Bok hired noted architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. to transform what then was an arid sandhill into "a spot of beauty second to none in the country." Olmsted planted 1,000 large live oaks, 10,000 azaleas, 100 sabal palms, 300 magnolias and 500 gordonias. Today, the gardens are 10 times their original size and feature acres of ferns, palms, oaks, pines and wetland plants. The site is a refuge for more than a hundred bird species. The main attraction is the Gothic Revival tower, built on the highest elevation of the site, south of a reflecting pool that reflects its full image. Built of pink Etowah marble and gray Creole marble, it is 51 feet square at its base. Recitals are given daily.

Beautiful gardens and paths to lead you in your self-guided tour. Carts available for those who do not care to walk. Very pet-friendly as they have watering spots and bags for potties. Also let dogs inside buildings where they can cool off.

I think there are scheduled times to hear the bells. There is a movie to watch that is on a loop. There is a kitchen area that holds special events. Overall really relaxing place. In winter there is an old mansion you can tour. It is usually a Christmas thing. That costs extra. Think downton Abbey. Sorry can’t be more specific. My visits are usually spontaneous but I know that have very fancy events

We spent several hours which is necessary to fully experience the numerous gardens and displays. You will want to allow time to listen to the carillon performances, visit the gift shop and maybe have a bite to eat.
Can pets go on the mansion tour?

No, they are permitted in the adjacent gardens but not inside the mansion. There are signs posted to address this at the visitor entrance to the mansion. Sorry!

what is the time for live concerts on Thursday and Sunday?

Yes, they are at 1 and 3. Now, not all the half-hour concerts are live; some are recorded. You should check before going if you want to be sure. I believe the video is still available during a recorded concert but you might not be able to "meet the artist" to chat after the performance.

According to the brochure, live concerts are at 1 and 3 pm Monday through Thursday. Nothing listed for Friday through Sunday. Apparently a new brochure for each week.

We were there on Halloween day - the 1pm performance was almost exactly 30 minutes. It was an amazing show - mostly movie/tv show tunes (ie: The Adams Family etc). Such a talented man, truly wonderful sound. It was just nice to relax on a bench and enjoy the beautiful day.
