Look, I've lived in this area sine 1987. The changes and the improvements have been wonderful. Downtown Melbourne is historical, has a couple of terrific thrift shops, and so many different restaurants; ever-changing. Don't try to park on the street; it's a headache. Park in one of the municipal parking lots and just walk across the street. And just enjoy it.

Main Street seems to be improving all the time with new businesses moving in! It's a great place to take an afernoon stroll and stop in for a drink and a bite to eat. I just wish there was more parking.

When we go Downtown, we shop then eat. Sometimes, we even eat, then shop. There are some fantastic stores for clothing and gifts. There are some fabulous restaurants, too. We love going to Meg O’Malley’s and have just discovered Mugsy’s. It’s worth the trip!

What a cute little downtown! There are lots of restaurants, bars, shops and bakeries. There is free parking and it is nice to walk around.

We enjoyed our stroll through the downtown area while killing time before our restaurant opened. Lots of creative, artistic shops with colorful window displays (most weren't open until later in the morning), although we did find a really cool plant shop where we made a couple of purchases. Be sure to take the side alleys off the main streets for the full experience. Free and ample parking was a bonus.

A really fun place to walk around for real shopping or window shopping. A variety of stores and places to eat. It was easy to find parking.

Great quint shop's to browse through, and plenty of restaurant's to choose from. great way to spend an afternoon.

While I was at a customer during the midday, the wife took downtown in. Really enjoyed it the afternoon. Antiques, and Arts. Overall a good day.

Some of the stores are open on Sunday by noon.
They have small street vendors selling plans and art crafts . You will need to google it and find out if they have something going on that Sunday .

I wasn't specifically looking for music bars and so can't specifically name one, but do recall hearing music as we passed by. I suggest you google for music bars in downtown melbourne, FL or music bars on New Haven.
