‪Nice little area for a walk‬

‪I usually end up there when walking around downtown Melbourne. Nice little area with benches. Great location to stop after eating at one of the many nearby restaurants. ‬

‪We stop here often so look for manatees. I've never seen one but many others have. ample free parking so stop and look‬

‪Hit or miss on seeing them.‬

‪We drove 20 minutes out of our way to see if we could see them. We saw a few of their backs. The water was very murky. This was not what I was expecting. We walked under the bridge to the marina area. About a 10 minute walk. ‬

‪If you are lucky (or in the winter) you can see manatees‬

‪Great place to look for manatees in the cooler months. We saw several when we were there. One of the fisherman said he has seen dolphins in that area as well. Nice place to take a short walk or sit on a bench by the water and the location is also an easy walk from several restaurants and shops on New Haven.‬

‪We didn't see any manatees, but this made a nice rest stop for the hot day. There are plenty of benches. You can fish from the walk path. ‬

‪This is a great place to spot Manatees especially when it is cooler weather. Also, it is very pretty. There is a marina right near the observation area. ‬

‪We had a great walk around the water. But we didn't see any Manatee's. Still the boats that were in dock were fun to look at. Good exercise time. ‬

‪A quaint neighborhood park along the waterfront in older, historic section of downtown Melbourne on East Melbourne Avenue near the train overpass. Noted as a manatee and wildlife observation area - never know which creatures will be there to view. Large, long stretch of area to walk around to look watch for waterfowl, manatee, and other sea life. Very nice gazebo and picnic area. Covered pavilions with benches and Picnic tables. Very clean and well maintained. Ample parking. Quiet & peaceful spot. ‬

‪Manatee day‬

‪Nice little park to visit, we were lucky to see some Manatees. Please obey the rules and don't feed them, someone had thrown several slices of bread in the water. Go during the day, the area seems to attract homeless resting on the benches.‬
