It was a good family trip all the birds were outside you are able to bring nuts to feed them. The owner take good care of them. Property was very nice. There are a lot of birds didn't think they would have so many. Bring cash they run om donations

This off-the-beaten-path bird park is a dedicated sanctuary, staffed by volunteers, and operating via donations. Great place for kids and adults.

The tour was really nice, but since was raining that week some of the pathways were blocked by water but we had a lot of fun and we learned so much about the birds and their amazing job at the sanctuary.

I absolutely cannot believe we got to hold so many parrots!! What a surreal experience and they are the most beautiful creatures! We learned so much and will be going back many times. We will even continue donating as KERRIELLEN and her volunteers are just doing incredible work. These birds don’t just mimic words they actually talk in context. It’s just incredible to all of a sudden hear a “hello” from a cage and a bird walk over. I can’t wait to go back.

It was more than I ever expected! The staff was friendly and informative.. It was so much fun holding the parrots. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful birds, very educational. It was fun to feed the birds and hold a couple. Sanctuary is very well kept and the people were very nice.

Thank you Kariellen for accomodating my visit at short notice. We re-scheduled our visit to Naples to include this visit and it was worth it. What a genrous and wonderful gesture by Kariellen and her team for all that they do each day for these birds and animals. Learning about her not-for-profit organization and admiring the colourful birds were a big treat. Highly recommend. Not easy to get a slot in one of her guided tours so essential to book way in advance. Thanks again for enriching our stay in Collier County.

A very informative tour featuring many parrots and macaws. We loved being able to hold some of the birds before the tour began. We learned a lot about the rescue of the many birds. We brought unsalted almonds and had fun feeding the birds too. It was also nice to see the male and female peacocks that are wild, but frequent the gardens, especially during tours!! There was no charge to take the tour, but donations are greatly appreciated and we were happy to donate!

This is an amazing experience for people of all ages. Don’t forget to bring plain almonds to feed the birds. You get to hold and feed many exotic birds. The tour is very informative. Definitely a must when you visit Naples. The tour is free, but I recommend making a donation at the end of the tour.

Birds! Birds! And more Birds! This was a lovely sanctuary for incredible and beautiful birds. We loved feeding the birds (unsalted pecans). Each of them had their own personality. It was the highlight of our time in Naples!

What’s the adoption fee, and also, do you have cockatiels and/conures :)

I was there recently. Yes there are cockatiels and conures, and from what the owner said, she does sometimes place birds with foster homes when she feels she has the right match. I would just call her and plan a weekend visit and connect personally.
I just heard on the news birds can get westnil virus from mosquitoes. Are there any plants or other protection for the birds?

The west Nile virus that has been detected in Florida is over 360 miles north east of us. There has been no recorded west Nile in south western Florida.

I am thinking of taking my mom but she cant walk long distances. I saw in the website it is a 2 mile trail in the tour.Is that right? can we abort if she feels she can't keep up?

Don't think it is two miles. Pace is leisurely, but ground is uneven and more of a dirt/ grass path thru all the cages of birds. Very informal and you can drop out any time , or guide will give you extra time. They are very accommodating.

You have already got the message. I believe she tries to keep the tours to about 25 people. Deservingly it is getting more popular so make your reservation soon.
