While the experience was amazing, and my husband had a fantastic time, he developed ringworm where the water boot meets his ankle. I know they mention that all the suits are cleaned and sanitized, but we're pretty positive this is where he developed the fungus, as it showed up a few days after the adventure. We definitely would recommend the experience, but just be aware that you can only clean these suits so much!

I absolutely love diving at Epcot! I highly recommend it!!! The staff were awesome and very knowledgeable!!! A+++ experience.

The last time I had done Divequest was 22 years ago.
Not much has changed except the price.
The cast members (what they like to be called) were great. Everyone is always treated amazing.
The gear is always top-notch.
This time around, there was no videographer. You were given a photo pass to download 1 pic before you entered the water.
The only reason I gave 4/5.
Is the price. $219 per person. And After you're done they escort you back to the entrance. You can't even stay in the park unless you purchased another pass.That was not how it was done before. How greedy can Disney be??

My teenage daughter and I did this adventure last Monday. We had an amazing time. We are both newly Padi certified and loved every minute of it. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional.
We were very luck to be the only two divers so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was interesting to see the behind the scenes and learn about the food prep. It was cool to swim with sharks and turtles.
We will definitely be doing this again with the rest of our family. We can't thank Rachel, Malory, Abby, Marianne and Neil enough for making this a great experience.
We were very luck to be the only two divers so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was interesting to see the behind the scenes and learn about the food prep. It was cool to swim with sharks and turtles.
We will definitely be doing this again with the rest of our family. We can't thank Rachel, Malory, Abby, Marianne and Neil enough for making this a great experience.

My husband and I were spectators when our son and granddaughter scuba dived. We took tons of pictures of the sharks, manatee, sea turtles etc before the divers entered the aquarium. They had to get the divers out after twenty minutes because the hammer head shark was getting aggressive. We didn’t know this and thought the show was over and went outside.

I probably wouldn’t do it again because the water was too cold for me, but the staff was very friendly and informative. If you had any questions or problems, it was very easy to ask them. My only gripe (albeit minor) (and an FYI for anyone planning) with this trip was that they do not document anymore.

The dive was about 40mins in the tank and you could see everything in the clear and man-made salt water the aquarium has. They gave us a short tour of the aquarium and had everything ready for us to dive. They even provided a suit, towels, and clean showers for us to freshen up to go back into epcot. It was absolutely a fun time interacting with other people viewing the aquarium and seeing the wonderful wildlife at epcot. I would definitely come back if I’m visiting epcot.

This was our 5th time diving at Dive quest. We did the 5:00 pm dive and we only had 6 divers on our tour (October 11). We met at the guest services outside Epcot. You no longer need a park ticket to book this tour. They took pictures of our dive cards and asked us our shoe size.
Since you are behind the scenes you are not allowed to take pictures. The tour was knowledgeable and fun.
The locker rooms are huge. You can lock up everything and then one of the CMs will lock up your key. You will get suited and meet everyone outside the locker rooms.
We got to meet all 3 dolphins during our walk over to the dive platform.
Now for the dive: they set everything up for you. I do not know who much weight they added to the BC, but it was to heavy. I had to keep putting air in it during the 40 minute dive. But whatever they use for defogger was the best (I use baby shampoo watered down). I have to say that since they added so much more life to the tank that this was the best experience I have ever encountered at Dive Quest. I have to say my favorite was diving with a hammerhead shark. I have almost 400 dives and have never got to dive with one. Staying in place gives you the best show because everything comes by you. I did get to see all 3 turtles, but they were sleeping most of the time under coral. Another fun thing was playing with the kids at the windows.
My only two complaints would be that they no longer do the videos or use the stickers with the dive information for your dive log. They do have a stamp, but I did not bring my log book.
I would suggest if you are going to do this bring a plastic bag for your wet bathing suit and maybe an extra towel. I have long hair and it was nice having my own towel for when we left. We brought our own masks.
I would do it again. It was so much more exciting this time.

This is my third time doing Dive Quest. Don't take my review as being negative, I'm just noting some changes that have gone into effect since it's 10/2022 reopening.
1) First, I want to give a huge shout-out to the Disney people at Dive Quest. Super friendly, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful and informative. KUDOS to the entire team.
2) A nice change: You no longer are required to buy an entrance ticket to Epcot to do Dive Quest. You meet outside the gates at the Customer Relations window. There you show them your "C" card, and they give you background information on the dive, and fill out a release form.
3) If you have long hair, they will provide you rubber bands to keep your hair in place. You are not allowed to wear things like scrungees(?) due to contamination.
4) You are also given a backstage tour of the facilities before the dive. It's very informative.
5) The Disney team is VERY good at sizing you up - all your equipment is set up and ready for you when you head to the water. My suit / BC fit perfectly.
6) I use a prescription mask. No problem using my own mask. I was also allowed to use my dive computer as well.
7) Major Change - Disney NO LONGER films your dive. Since I had my niece there for her first time, I really wanted to get her a video of the dive. The Dive Quest instructors said they liked doing the filming, and to let Disney know (which I did) that we would like them to start the filming back up. At least I have 3 other videos from previous dives.. My niece was only 10 years old on my second dive (she's 24 now)
8) Disney has increased the number and variety of fish and Sharks in the aquarium. If being in the water with sharks makes you a bit nervous, the instructors said not to worry, they fed them before we got into the water ! :-) There is a hard rule - NO trying to TOUCH and sea life in the aquarium - as Disney says, this is their home. The coral is Disney created, so if you accidently touch it, you probably won't hurt it.
9) There are hot showers, lockers, towels, shampoo, condition, and body wash available after the dive. The also wave rapid swimsuit dryers in each locker room.
10) Disney provides "shorty" wetsuits - which are easier to get in and out of than full wetsuits.
11) Friends and family can get really good shots of you on their side of the glass - just remember to tell them to keep their flash off. You can also see people dining in the restaurant. Wave at the people, the kids love it !!!
12) At the end of the Dive, you now receive a really nice had instead of a t-shirt.
Bottom line - would I do it again ? YES - YES - YES !!!!
Hint: after you swim around for a while - pick a spot and just watch. The sea life is constantly going by. Don't be surprised if some of the fish come right up to your mask and just watch YOU !! My niece even has one fish "nibble" on her hair !

Super fun and easy dive! I like that you can go to the parks in the morning, do a dive and then return to the parks. We were the first group to dive after the great pause. You do not need to being anything and the guides were fantastic (Allison, Alison, and Kelsey). You get a tour through their "kitchen" and manatee rehab areas. We learned about veterinary care and the dolphins' cognitive learning exercises. There are four DMs with you as well as additional cast members on top. We had 11 in our group, so the ratio was about 1:1. My favorite part was swimming up to the glass and high-fiving the kids. After what seemed like the briefest bottom time ever (my computer said 42 minutes, but I swear it felt like 15), they will take you back to the lockers. They provide keyed lockers while you're diving. They have shampoo, etc., and tons of towels. Also a spinner for your swimsuit (I do recommend a dry bag for anyone going to a Florida theme park). We weren't given the option to buy a DVD or photos, maybe because it was the first time back. If you have family/friends that have a park ticket, they can see you about an hour after your tour starts and take photos for free. The guides will tell you when/where to meet them prior to touring - very important: you cannot take ANY photos. It was nice to enjoy a park experience without everyone trying to take selfies :-) The water is really clear and they'll turn out great! We got hats afterward and they have a stamp for your dive log. Shoutout to Kenny for taking us on such a fun dive!

Does anyone know about when/if they will be restarting DiveQuest? I'm heading down in October and would love to do this.

Unfortunately this is not part of the park that has reopened. I’m not sure about age restrictions but you have to be a certified scuba diver. Certification comes with its own age (for kids) and health restrictions (if you have certain conditions you have to have a doctors clearance to take the certification classes)
is there a way to get the video of the dive? we had a dive on 12/14/2019 at 430om.

You could call the Disney number (407) 939-8687 that you called before to reserve the dive slot. It's hard to say if they archive the videos or not. Usually you are asked in the briefing room right after the dive, if you would like a copy of the video.
I can only recommend to call and ask. I have picked up the video after each dive I have done with them. I'm building a collection! :)
My family purchased pickets for Epcot Divequest, our dive time is at 5pm. Will we have to buy a separate admission ticket or do you think they will let us in early to ride the rides?

You do not need a ticket to epcot in order to participate in the dive BUT you will not have an opportunity to ride rides without one. The tour starts and ends on the outside of the park (near the ticket center).
