Excellent trilling ride went twice would have went more times but it’s a minimum wait of an hour each time. What an experience!

I liked the FOP ride. Very creative and definitely tells a story. Food is slightly above Disney standards (I’m not a fan in general). It isn’t a large land but is cohesively themed. Lighting at night is very nice.

Es una experiencia inolvidable aunque la espera por la atracción es bastante en Enero, vale la pena.

Amazing. My favorite attraction out of all 4 parks. The avatar in the river ride was super realistic + the music and all the visuals = stunning.

Le land Pandora est d'une splendeur inégalée à ce jour dans tous les parcs Disney, et probablement même au delà.
Tout fait vrai, tout y est. Que ce soit les plantes, les roches, les bâtiments... Même l'audio est à l'avenant, avec une ambiance sonore nous envoyant tout droit sur la planète, et évoluant selon que l'on visite de jour ou de nuit ! Les plantes deviennent luminescentes de nuit, et les bruits d'animaux de la jungle pandoriennes nous envoient tout droit avec Jake.
Les attractions sont aussi exceptionnelles : Navi River Journey est un très joli dark ride qui nous fait cheminer dans la jungle, entourés des animaux de Pandora, sous les chants des Na'vi jusqu'à la découverte d'une Tsahìk plus vraie que nature.
Flight of Passage est, elle, une attraction vraiment exceptionnelle, d'immersion et de sensations. On est chargés dans le corps d'un Avatar, flanqué sur le dos d'un banshee/ikran, à voler au dessus de la jungle et de l'océan. Vraiment unique, impression. Une expérience au delà de la simple attraction.
Enfin, le restaurant quick service Satu'li Canteen vous offrira un repas original et particulièrement gouteux.

Went to enjoy this park/area prior to the movie release... what a great time. We were happily exhausted by the time we made it back to the hotel

El mundo de Avatar es por lejos lo mejor que ofrece este parque de Disney para familias con adolescentes.
La recreación es fantástica y las dos principales atracciones son excelentes. El simulador del vuelo es impresionante

Love the look of this place. Na'vi River ride I didn't much care for. Slow, boat ride...mainly for visual. Disney could have done better than making another...Disney ride. However, Flight of Passage was an amazing simulation ride. Hop on the banshee and enjoy! I hope the new movies add to this world.

So much fun! We waited for an hour and a half and I'd say it was well worth. Try to use the LL if you can. We missed the window. If you think you can walk in at early entrance, you can't. EVERYONE goes straight to Pandora.

Questa zona di Disney's Animal Kingdom è la più spettacolare, con due belle attrazioni (anche se il giro sul fiume è un pò corto). La sera le piante si illuminano di fosforescenze e diventa incredibile. Spettacolare anche il ristorante a tema Avatar.

I got a fast pass for 950a-1050a. Any suggestions as to when to arrive? Some say arrive at opening of park. My experience as a passholder is they really don’t care as long as u show up near the time for it just not like 7 hrs late lol. Also, how comparable is this to soarin? First time I rode soarin I was OK the second time I had a on I attack nearby cuz I forgot how hot af it was in that stadium and I psyched myself up. I took Dramamine before the third time and was fine. I also discovered if u ride on the end of theater in bottom Row it’s less intense. Is avatar this way as well? Are there rows? I know they have bikes to sit on. Is there anything like a strap or harness that keeps u stuck there for duration? I worry. I never know how my body is. It’s prob just a more of a mental thing. I do have some vertigo only if I do not eat enough. The heat doesn’t
bother me. The wind however DOES WHEN WALKING IN THE WINTER NIGHTS. .

Hi, you can show up 5 minutes before or up to 20 minutes after your FP time. That is the grace period.
The ride has a Soarin’ type feel but the motion is more intense. There are no rows so no obstructed views. I have not noticed a difference in the experience between levels but others have. If you use Dramamine for Soarin’ you will need it for this. It is a truly epic ride experience.
The ride vehicle is like a bike but is meant to simulate riding on the back of a Banshee so more like sittin astride a hors with restraints.

I can’t do coasters because i can’t handle the big drops. Can you close your eyes on FOP and not feel the big drops since it’s a simulator or is the “bike” actually dropping down far?

Si....aunque en casi todas las atracciones de Disney te encontrás con carteles que explican que si tenes ciertos problemas de salud no subas, vos tenes la libertad de correr el riesgo y asumir posibles consecuencias...yo tengo problemas de columna y cuello...y mi primera vez en Disney fui en tratamiento por pánico con mareos y demás cosillas.....y lo hice todo y lo disfrute todo!
Hi, I am usually not one for 3D, sometimes I don't wear the glasses. Do you know if objects come at you or how intense the 3D effects are for flight of passage? Thank you!

Hi Julianna, I too am a person that does not like to wear 3D glasses. I will pass on movies that only show in 3D. However, Flight of Passage is one of my wife's and my favorite ride.
It is not a scary ride and since you are flying on the back of a Banshee, you are flying towards things. It is very much like "Soaring", only more exciting.
Enjoy your visit and I hope you try this attraction.

can I get fastpasses to the flight of passage ride and or the other avatar rides on Dec 5 or Dec. 6, 2018 even though I'm not staying at a disney hotel or am not 30 days out yet? (are the fastpasses already taken for those dates?)

We actually did it twice, getting in the line later in the evening when the wait time dropped. It was worth the 60 minute wait in line.

How long should I plan to spend here? I was thinking max 4 hours? To my knowledge the park only has 2 rides?
Will it be super busy in mid March?

World of Avatar is amazing! Personally I think you should try to go before the sunsets so you can see what it looks like with the sun out. Then once it gets dark it’s a different sight to see. This is a small land and yes it’s only two rides, but the lines can be long for both of these rides so I would account for the time being in line waiting. You can walk through and see everything in the land itself in a matter of 20 minutes. It will be busy in March because that is spring break season. It’s better to go in Jan or early February.

You cannot buy a fastpass online, but you can buy a ticket for Animal Kingdom from Disney online and you may or may not be able to get a fastpass for Flight of Passage.
