Just wonderful. It truly is like you’re flying. Even the line you wait in to get on the ride passes quickly, because you are “in “ Pandora. This is a must do ride.
My tips are do the rope drop first thing in the morning, or get in line right before the park closes for the shortest wait.

Enjoyed the ride with wind and water mists on the face. Wife got dizzy,. She closed her eyes. Up to 8 stories high. In case you have bad knees, use the elevator if on the highest floor.

Excellent ride. I'm not even an avatar fan and I loved this ride. the detail is unreal adn theexperience is unforgettable.

One of the most incredible ride I have ever seen, this is a Must ride , animal kingdom as a park was one of my least favorite park .
Make sure you get the genie app other wise you will wait 2 hours for this ride.this is 3D ride, you literally feel like you are flying and ride on avatar , if you or your family scared of heights you should pass it.
Over all highly recommended.

Best ride experience in WDW. Not a roller coaster. Think Soarin' on steroids. Even if you have to buy Pay to Play (or whatever that is called now - basically paying extra for what used to be included in the admission price) to ride this, hold your nose at the gross nickel and dimeing and buy it if that's the only way you can ride. If you can rope drop, that would be a "free" alternative. Shame on Disney for charging for Genie+ and Pay to Play on top of huge increases in ticket prices. This should be included in Genie+ and it should be included at no extra cost, just like Fast Pass used to be. The Disney Parks are already generating huge profits and carrying the rest of the company, as I understand it.

La cola es larga… si pueden comprar la light line, vale la pena. Toda la ambientación previa es maravillosa y para mi gusto el segundo mejor simulador de Disney. Si estás ahí, vale la pena y hay que hacerla

Well worth the wait. Waited for 2 hours in a queue for the ride. Would have waited for another two to do it straight after if I could have stood that long. Not your average ride but was brilliant.

Atração incrível. Quando for chegue cedo e vá primeiro. Enquanto você fica na fila você vê diversos objetos do mundo de Avatar. Você vai estar em Pandora, literalmente. Vai sentir o cheiro do mundo de Avatar. É indescritível. Não perca!

Flight of Passage was AWESOME! You straddle what looks like a bike but it's meant to be a banshee. Simulation ride that take you right into it with wind and smells and all.

I can get queasy on some rides. Is this a ride that can cause motion sickness? I honestly take a Bonnie or Dramamine before hitting up parks bu never ride the real motion sickness inducers.

You don't really move as you are seated on a motor bike like contraprion that is fixed to the floor. As with all of these types of rides it's the film screen in front of you that creates the feeling that you are moving. So I guess if you are hyper sensitive to this then taking your meds makes sense

Act fast, the Fast Passes for the best rides fill up well in advance of the actual date. Stay on property or buy your tickets now for the best availability.
I get anxiety attacks from 4D style rides such as Muppets 4D, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Sub Terrania (Alton Towers). Is this ride 4D or more like the old Soarin' ride?

It's an amazing ride however it is intense and not like the old Soarin ride in our view. It's totally immersive as others have said. The design of the seats make the experience far more active than Soarin. You are sat in a motorcycle position gripping the handle bars in front and wear 3D glasses. Restraints come up from behind and rest on your lower back and legs. Air bladders inside the chair inflate and deflate during the ride, giving the impression you’re really sitting on a living, breathing banshee.

My opinion is the line is way too long for that age & the flight a lil too extreme. Mayn't meet height restriction either (as I recall there is one). But, wow, what a ride!! :D

Could someone tell me in their opinion if I could handle this ride? I sometimes suffer motion sickness due to inner ear and sinus. I take meclizine (Dramamine) before rides of caliber. I have ridden star tours it was so jerky and pure hell I had to put my head in my fiancé’s armpit eyes closed. I rode soarin ZERO PROBLEMS and the tea cups in MK no problems that’s my fave lol. Also dinosaur is semi jerky in AK and no problems there. Let me know. My fiancé said he will stay up all night and ride bus to magic hour to stand in line and ride it first just to let me know lmao.

For the avatar ride you are sitting on a bike with hour hands on handlebars, when the ride opens there is definitely the feel you are flying. Awesome ride.

Si no has podido conseguir fast pass es imprescindible q madrugues y vayas directamente a hacer cola. No te detenga a hacer fotos por el camino y ve directo a hacer fila. Durante el día podrás sino esperar 3 horas... La atracción es insuperable y merece la pena.

I have ridden stars wars and dinosaur and soarin. The dinosaur was jerky but didn’t make me sick. The Star Wars did and was pure hell I had to take off glasses and put my head in his armpit whole time. So, can anyone compare this ride or those and tell me if this one slams u around like Star Wars? I need to know detailed movement please we have come to WDW five times since Jan 2018 and I haven’t been on, Cuz once ur there u can’t get out. Thank u!

You won’t make it though Avatar very well then. It has abrupt movements as well as flying and falling sensations. It’s very aggressive to the senses. Hope this helps. It’s too bad. It’s a fantastic ride, probably my favorite.
