‪Keeping Heritage and History‬

‪Dedicated members work hard to keep Taylor County's and Florida's history and their families's heritage alive and current educating young and old. The building is undergoing renovation. Meetings are well attended and informative.‬

‪The picture is in Perry, FL, Map is of Perry,GA. I don't know how to fix this. Perry, Georgia's historical museum is fun but open only a limited number of days a week.‬

‪There is loads of history in Taylor County, which was settled by pioneers when Florida was still a territory. The historical society in Perry is open one afternoon per week, Thursday from 1-5. Check website for other times. It is a treasure trove of local lore, and if you are lucky one of the locals will be there to answer questions.‬
