‪My daughter and I spent almost a hour here. I could have stayed longer. Loved all the books! My daughter loved the tie-dye, and all the funny sayings on the stickers and buttons. Polly, the owner, was very friendly, laidback and knowledgeable and her little dog was super cute. If ever in the area again, We will definitely be back.‬

‪This is the best used book stores in Florida. If you have the occasion to travel through Perry Florida this is a place you MUST stop at. In addition to over 20,000 used books you can browse through the best selection of new hippie clothes and curios I have seen in decades. This is not to be missed.‬

‪This is an older building that could use some updating and TLC. However, the owner has certainly got the organization of the books down pat. They are separated by genre, and the most popular authors have sections. They don't pile things around so you have to dig for anything, which is nice.

They also have clothing, jewelry, and accessories in the store. It was an interesting mix of items to look at. The dressing room is kind of small and only a split-type curtain separates you from the store. They have an older house type bathroom in the store also, which could/should be used as the dressing room, as there is plenty of room and it is more private.

The staff present (the owner?) was very helpful, as i was looking for some specific books/authors and she was able to either point me in the right direction or let me they had nothing in the store that matched what I wanted. She was a very nice lady, who even tried to keep the little dog from barking at me...but he persisted.‬

‪20,000+ used books, Jewelry, Clothes and a Cute Dog‬

‪Across the street from the Skylark Motel is the coolest shop in Perry. Half of the store is reserved for the owners enormous collection of used books of every genre and the other half is devoted to new Florida-centric books and art including jewelry and clothing. There is something here for everyone and Polly, the owner, is a font of information concerning the area itself, Florida in general, and all manner of interesting things. I really enjoyed my visit with her while trying to keep my purchases minimal. So many tempting things she has tucked away in this motel cum strip mall.‬

‪Great little bookstore - worth a visit!‬

‪We were doing a "Old Florida" RV trip which took us through Perry, and had seen The Book Mart as a place to visit there. It was well worth the time. Polly, the owner, is a fellow bibliophile, and she is well-versed in the world of books. She stocks new and used and is knowledgeable about authors and their works. If you are looking for a particular author she can tell you on which shelf his/her books are found, and in our case which end of the shelf! We had a great time browsing and had a shopping bag full of used paperbacks, a Florida road atlas and a couple of new hardcovers to take home. She has quite a variety stocked. If you love books, you will really enjoy The Book Mart!‬

‪First of all Polly the owner is the person to see if your searching for that favorite author or that book you just don't remember the name. She has read them all and is more than willing to help you find what you are looking for. She also has a wonderful selection of hippie items such as muu muu, purses and mood rings on her Sunshine shop side. Such a neat place nestled at the heart of an old Florida hotel. ‬
