‪SPENDING TIME IN THE GROTTO‬

‪I have been coming to St Leo Abbey for Quest Spiritual Retreats for over 22 years. The Grotto is something very special, peaceful and inspirational. It is truly a one-of-a-kind place in Florida. It is a hidden treasure for anyone on a spiritual journey. It is a perfect and natural spot to pray and meditate. I have gone there by myself and with friends. We all agree that we felt something powerful yet peaceful. Healings have taken place among us in many different forms....physically, mentally & spiritually. It has been a place to leave problems,burdens and baggage!‬

‪We kwamen eerst bij de St Leo abdij via dr universiteit. Daar gepraat met een monnik en die vertelde over deze grotto. Het staat niet aangegeven, maar je moet de weg over steken bij de trap. Rechtdoor tussen Eucalyptus bomen en je ziet vanzelf een paar beelden. Er zijn twee grotten waar je eventueel kan bidden of een kaarsje kan opsteken.‬

‪Absolutely stunning chapel‬

‪Located adjacent to the picturesque St Leo College campus, the monastery church is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous stained glass, statuary, altar, and organ. Bring a sweater as they keep it rather cold.‬

‪This little known place is located just across the street from St Leo University, near San Antonio Florida. It is not a place for parties, for busy schedules or for robustness. It is a place for your soul, a place to meditate, a place to gain peace within. When you find it you will "feel" how Holy this place is. Find a seat. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Focus on what is in front of you. Be sure to read everything there that is available and take it in your heart. I promise, if you have any spiritual awareness at all, this place will give you peace.‬
