We initially rented a 24 foot pontoon boat but because of the weather forcast we changed days and CBs was able to accomodate us with a 20 foot boat. The people at the desk we very helpful showing us on a map where to go and not go and answer all of our questions. We rented a full day which I highly reccomend rather than a 1/ 2 day - no pressure to return the boat and the price differnece is mininmal. The morning was a little chlly but warmed u to near 80. In the morning we went north into Sarasota Bay t, stopped at Jack's Marina and then had lunch on South Lido Beach. After lunch we headed south towards Osprey and just floated around, catching the sun rays. Overall a great experience with CB's.

They were very friendly and easy to work with. They provided us with maps and advised to make our boating experience Wonderful! WE would do it again.

We’ve been renting boats at CB Saltwater Outfitters for 16 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’re extremely knowledgeable and very professional

We rented a 20 ft. Pontoon, Bluetooth didn't work,
The steering was horrible, you had to turn and turn to get the boat to turn.

Great little shop and service
We rented a boat from CB’s Outfitters and had a very good experience. I’ve rented a lot of boats over the years and this was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. The boats were clean, functional and I had absolutely no issues with the boat over a week’s period (usually there are multiple issues with any boat rental).
Pricing was fair and the employees were very courteous and helpful. (Rented the 23’ Carolina Dual Console)
The shop itself was very well equipped with a lot of nice high-quality clothing, fishing equipment and bait.

Love CB's Saltwater rental shop on Stickney Point. Rented the pontoon on Tuesday for my family, We had the most perfect day and the staff was great in getting us launched. We rented the 27' pontoon that accommodated our group. Boat and map were ready to go. Always rent from CB's ...they do it right!!!

Booked a 27' pontoon boat with CB's January 03rd. The boat was very clean and in great working order. The staff that prepared the boat, launched and received us, was very professional and helpful.
I would suggest the person that reviews the navigation map with you, perhaps makes marks on the map in erasable marker. This would be helpful.
With regard to CB's, I was satisfied with the equipment, process and overall experience. I would recommend renting from this company.

I have already written an excellent review experience with CB's Saltwater Outfitters. This is our 5 outing with them since August 2022. What can I say, simply another great day on the water. By far the best rental boating experience. Easy to book, the staff answer all questions on the phone and when you pick up the boat. Their boats clean, no problems. Treat you like family, everybody that works here. And their ship's store well stocked with amazing products. Do not hesitate from renting from CB's Saltwater Outfitters.

We have returned to CB's to rent a boat. We've always had great experiences with them. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a perfect day to be on the water. We rented a 19' Stingray. It was somewhat dated but performed very well. We did find the steering to be very tight and a little hard to turn the wheel. That was our only complaint. We'll be back again for sure.

I absolutely LOVE this store. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They treat you like family. The shop has a so much beautiful merchandise. They have all the bait and tackle you need. We rented a pontoon and fishing gear and they were so helpful making sure we had everything we needed- even prepared the fishing gear for us. I would definitely recommend. The location is perfect, right over the bridge. Can't wait to go back and visit them.

We are a retired couple with some dear friends (husband and wife). The husband has rather severe Parkinson's disease but loves to fish...can cast and manage quite well but just needs TLC. We would love to treat them to a back waters fishing trip (we would come along and fish too) on a calm day with relatively good possibilities of fish biting (I know, not asking much are we😀)! We need a very special guide! Someone comfortable with disabilities and who could adjust methods as needed as well as be comfortable asking questions and being open and comfortable with our friend. Can you help us. We are all in Sarasota for the entire winter...they live here permanently and we winter here. Due to his balance issues a rough water day would not be smart or fun!
