A beautiful facility, well kept, clean, easy access to area hotels and expressways. Plenty of restaurants and access to shopping.

We attended a music education event here recently. The center is nice and there is a lot to do nearby. One good tip I can offer is to leave your car here and take the free streetcar to all the nearby areas like Ybor City. The parking is $12/day which is comparable to other nearby lots. The parking is open 24 hours per day and uses the Park Mobile app or a machine. You can walk to bars, restaurants, and other attractions.

I should’ve checked the weather prior to planning. The rain storm kept me from attending the event I had bought tickets for. Otherwise I believe it would have been a great trip.

Was here for the Florida Bar Exam. A comfortable, clean and modern facility that served its function extremely well. The convention center workers were friendly and helpful.
Parking is nearby in the garage. While easy to get to, the payment method is a tad complicated.

CI siamo recati per il TampabayCon.
La location è sempre perfetta, ricca di parcheggi nel circostante e ben strutturata per ospitare le convention.
Anche gli ingressi sono multipli e molto ben dislocati.
Bagni in diverse parti e due bar che servono starbucks al loro interno!

It's always a great experience at the TCC. Easy accessible parking and staff that is on top of everything. Right downtown with plenty of restaurant options or you can just take a break and sit by the Hilsborough River to relax. We did not stay in a hotel downtown this year after finding a better option on Rocky Point but still a great area to be in and a first class facility.

Best area for MetalCon, this is my second MetalCon and they should hold it here every year! Very clean and within walking distance to everything

...place to grab a bite to eat, catch the water taxi, take a walk, ride a bike, etc. Easy parking, clean, and good people!

Couldn't find an archival record of past events...so...I (foolishly) called to ask if the archive was available.
I was interrogated..."Why do you want that?" (the question: Why would the Convention center hide it's past events?, never came up.
I'm an attendee...this is how your attendees will be treated.
Still don't understand why an archive of past events is considered unusual...it's mind-bendingly absurd...literally no reason for not doing it and every reason for posting an historical archive.

An easily navigable property with large ballrooms on the ground floor (decent acoustics) and large convention space on the upper levels. Location along the waterway and adjacent to the Tampa RiverWalk. Great views of the water from the one end of the building. Parking is sufficient and the entrance areas are nice for those patrons walking in from the surrounding hotels.

How early do you need to get to the convention center parking garage to find parking spaces?

Depending on the Event, I went to a Wedding show and got there an hour after it started and found parking pretty easily in the parking garage. Wasn't all that expensive either really.

Are there any fast-food breakfast places within easy walking distance of the Convention Center? I'm not staying in any of the hotels, just driving in from out of town for the day.

The cafe in the Convention Center really isn't that great. There is a Starbucks across the street in the Embassy Suites.
The previous suggestion of Columbia since you'll have your car is the better option. Fast food? No. But it is "quick."

How far is the convention center from the airport?
The Tampa Convention Center is only a 16-20 minute drive from Tampa International Airport without traffic. During peak hours we recommend giving yourself ample time to ensure there are no delays.
