This welcome center is just off of I95 and a short distance from the FL border (it's exit 3 - so under the new system it would be 3 mi from the border)
A nice place, with clean restrooms. We stop on our way back / going to Hilton Head from JAX - last visit was September 2022. The staff is very friendly and helpful, makes me want to investigate the area further on a return trip. They have electric car charging stations, we are driving a rental car, but those with EVs would find this helpful. They have a nice gift shop with local products, on this trip we bought some small ornamental Georgia honey filled glass bears to give to the folks back home that covered for us while away (We also gave them gift cards)

Lots of local information provided. There is more in the area to do and see than I realized. Lady was eager to provide local information.

Beautiful welcome center. They provided all the information we needed to see the area. We were able to see a few historical sites that we wouldn't of known about and were given recommendations on restaurants.

Stopped here to charge the Tesla. It's great they added chargers.Nice washrooms, very clean. Staff at every friendly. Kick backs, maps and the usual welcome info available

Had a bit of a hotel problem and these people were very nice to give me information on how to connect with the proper authorities. Have communicated with them since my return home and they are very nice. THANKS

Mary gave a lot of options where to stay and described what they had to offer. Upon our request she called a hotel to find answers to our questions.

stop in and visit with the wonderful people and check out the souvenirs in the shop and nice clean bathrooms..

I guess they assume you're passing through Kingsland on the way to somewhere else - no, I told Frank at the counter, we were there to visit the studio where the web series Star Trek Continues was made, meet some of the actors and Ray, the owner. Frank said he knew Ray, and helped him with hotel information and contacts when he was setting up the Fan Weekend. Frank and I talked about other parts of Kingsland and the surrounding towns, places to visit and where to eat - then we learned about Kingsland of the past, reconstructed in a beautiful train layout in the west end of the Welcome Center. And of course you'll find all that other stuff - postcards, magnets, books from local authors, clothing...fun and affordable!

Lovely woman working the center. Full of personality and very helpful. Center is also filled with local artist and crafters works.
