‪This is my favourite place in the UK to relax‬

‪أنا Spa. لقد زرت كثيراً في المملكة المتحدة، نيرفانا عامّ تتفوّق كل واحد. أذهب إلى هنا حوالي 3 أو 4 مرات في السنة am يجيب أملي أبدا. 1761 داخلياً ديناميكياً وحوض سباحة جميل. هادئ جدا، أعتقد أن ينام فى حين انخفض بالفعل العائمة. أنا وصديقي علاج راسول جربت في نيسان/أبريل. لقد thoughroughly بها. فريق عمل المنتجع الصحي ما كل من معالجات لا ثم إنهم يتركون لك! سنعود إلى الدورة سنضيف راسول آخر في فصل الخريف. الطعام في نيرفانا رائع. أنه صحية طازجة، ما كنت ترغب فى تناول الطعام عندما حول في جزيرة بيكيني طوال اليوم. ان. . . ان الكيك اللذيذ جدا دائما "شرب الشاي" عندما تأتي إلى هنا. من الرائع أن جميع المشروبات غير الكحولية، أدوات لصنع الشاي والقهوة في المنتجع الصحي. افضل بكثير من المنتجعات الصحية الأخرى إلى حيث يمكنك أن فورك بضع جنيهات استرليني كل مرة. تضيف على مدى يوم عندما كنت القهوة المدينة مثل نفسي. تغيير المرافق نظيفة. دائما الحصول على مناشف منعشة، وأرواب حمام إذا أردت أن تسأل فريق العمل. هناك الكثير مما يمكن أن أقوله أكثر الإشادة هذا المكان. . . لكن أنا لن يرغبوا. . على بعد الذهاب إلى هناك! !‬

‪I’ve been a member for some years, and obviously have always loved the spa. The one thing that ruins the whole experience for me is the restaurant.

I have had beyond so many issues with ordering, waiting for plates, waiting over 30 minutes to have my order placed (up to 45 mins one night), waiting for salt and pepper, staff getting food orders wrong on so many occasions, being told different things on the menu that they didn’t have, upset mummies etc. The worst situation that happened was an evening spa with a friend, we queued for over 30 mins then waited a further 45 minutes for food (which came out wrong), because they were so busy. I felt so terrible for my friend where they spent a lot of money on a spa evening, and two hours of it was sat waiting at the restaurant, so barely got any time to use the actual spa.

The positive here though is the facilities are immaculate, all maintenance and cleanliness is perfect, it’s a beautiful spa.

But it’s far far over populated, too busy, impossible to get bookings now unless weeks in advance. And I didn’t want to have to leave a review with regards to the restaurant, but over the last two years it has been horrendous and is just getting worse.‬

‪I visited Nirvana Spa yesterday for the 5th time in two years so I am a big fan. I went for the Day Spa package with my cousin (also a big fan). While it was a wonderful experience and I still think the Spa is good value for money, I would echo some of the sentiments expressed by other reviews here. It feels like there has been a change in management or push to improve profitability as there are reduced options for drinks, supplements on most of the food on the menu, I think the products you can purchase on the express treatments is more restricted and the staff were more pushy trying to sell 'add-ons'. I also feel all the pools were a few degrees colder than usual and the quality of the food has reduced if I compare the experience to last October (when I last visited). This took a bit of the magic of Nirvana away for me sadly. I understand that costs go up and the Spa needs to respond to this but it definitely feels like corners are being cut and that there are pressures on costs and this overall makes the Spa feel less luxurious and special and that is a real shame as Nirvana has such a special and unique appeal. I was really considering membership but the experience yesterday has made me think twice...‬

‪We had the most fantastic relaxing day. The facilities are idyllic and clean. Some recent reviews about it “going downhill” left me nervous after the amount we paid, but I needn’t have been. The food was delicious, the juice and coffee drinks included were lovely, the staff are amazing. Feeling very refreshed.‬

‪This was a great spa, but I don't recommend them or their membership. They make it incredibly difficult for you to leave without losing money. They have given very short notice that they are completely changing the membership points scheme, which means it no longer has any flexibility. There is no grace period for membership cancellations to use up points or visits, so it's very difficult to 'use up and cancel'. They have been very unhelpful and refuse to extend the period to use up points despite the fact the spa has very limited availability in March. They are stealing my money, which taints the whole experience and means I will never go again or recommend them. In addition, it is quite clear they prioritise day guests over members now because it is very difficult to get spa days booked in or treatment appointments - you need to book 3 months ahead. Even more disappointing is that I continued to pay and support them through Covid and put up with shocking cleanliness in the period after Covid because of staff shortages.‬

‪We are really annoyed with the obvious cost cutting excercise being made by Nirvana. The price for the package has been increased however the value of your offering has decreased. The very very limited soft drinks selection offered, which includes cheap concentrated fruit juices, to save on your costs is a poor offering to loyal customers of over 20 years. In addition, the main course provided-mexican beans, bean or chicken enchiladas and hake in tomatoes again felt obvious in nirvana cutting on costs but feels like they are happy to increase the price to customers, oh and add 8% on for service. This is all very disappointing.‬

‪Booked the day spa with facial for myself and three friends. Surprised it had gone up by another £30 but thought oh well, its a one off trip for two of them and worth it. Arrived to find that the free soft drinks has been thoroughly stripped back to soda, juice and coffee. Pay more. Get less.

8% surcharge added even when you don't spend anything extra which, after spending over £200 each is a bit of a joke.

One friend was starting to feel nauseous through no fault of her own later in the day. Typically she'd just ordered food. We asked for it to be kept and was told it was company policy that they won't allow food out of the restaurant. Apparently because they can't control how it's stored. No takeaway box offered and told "we'll just make you a new one." Utterly unsustainable. How much food waste this spa creates with this attitude is probably through the roof. A grown adult is quite capable of deciding whether they want to consume yoghurt at room temperature an hour later without intervention from a spa. If a customer wants to take food away, just saying no and removing it from the bill doesn't solve any issues. Sort your ridiculous unsustainable policies out.

The food buffet also seems to have stagnated. While it's good, its the same thing every time you come, and the hot food station seems to be Mexican themed on every visit no matter what day. Some variety would be nice.

The facial was excellent as always and the staff do work incredibly hard and are always polite and helpful, but for the price I'm not sure it's value for money any more.‬

‪I have been twice and am looking forward to my next visit.
Despite it's size, they manage to deliver a personalised service and feel really well cared for by the team.
The facilities and options are extensive, well maintained and the food options very good.‬

‪I agree with some of the reviews here, it’s very much like a “nicer” leisure centre. It’s absolutely huge and you’re surrounded by people and queues. It made me feel a bit queezy sharing space with so many others in hot tubs. The whole place is so dated and dingy. It’s not a lavish spa experience, just kind of average. Shower rooms and toilets smell of drains

Staff are lovely and it’s clean, the food is nice.‬

‪I was a bit disappointed that the outside space with the big pool wasn’t open apparently trouble with the boiler. There were also some jets not working in the hydro pool I think it’s called.
There are not as many drinks now included in the spa day packages which was a bit disappointing.
It is a lovely Spa but when you pay a fair amount of money for it these little cut backs here and there are annoying.‬

‪Wonderful spa day… myself and my daughter enjoyed a Serene relaxation day spa which included a celestial flotation pool pod experience, We added a lava shell full body massage on.
Lunch was included and coffee / tea which made it very relaxing.
Overall, I was very impressed with Nirvana.
It was my first visit here, my daughter had been here once before for a spa day. We have visited Ragdale together for an overnight visit before and agreed that this is a more time/ cost efficient way of replicating that experience without the overnight stay.
Additionally, we thought there was lots for us to do, huge sauna, steam room, Roman pool for some lengths and a lie on the loungers ( loved the sun lamps replicating the sun’s warmth and light without the harmful rays).
The celestial flotation was excellent - it takes place in an annex to the sauna / steam room and I loved the chance to use the Sea Magik products and it fel really beneficial to sore tired muscles.
There are plenty of big open spaces to relax in, lots of loungers, ( bring your book) different areas, the spa is much bigger than I envisioned.
We used the outdoor jacuzzi, the exercise swim pool and my daughter did the ice bath plunge.
Lunch was either an a la carte choice or the buffet salad bar with a hot main course. The food was good not amazing like Ragdale but a lot of choice.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had trouble adding a treatment to my online booking and the woman on the telephone was very professional and helpful. All the staff were extremely approachable and knowledgeable.
The general vibe of the place was friendly and accessible - lastly, this place is immaculately clean!
We will definitely come again.‬
