‪Stopped here while vacationing in the area and loved it. We hiked the waterfall hike and saw two beautiful waterfalls. Trails are clearly marked, if you do waterfall hike be prepared for STEPS, lots of them. Don’t miss this beautiful place.‬

‪There is a $5 entrance fee and there are a lot of campsites to stay. the trails are well kept and it seems to be a family friendly park. there are restrooms and water supply and dogs are allowed on a leash. The west rim trail is one of the most beautiful ones that I have been‬

‪We spent one night in our rented Class B RV, and it was a great experience. Access to North Rim and Waterfall trails was perfect. Highly recommend both of these hikes (1.5 hours each), very scenic and serene. It's not The Grand Canyon, but it's a great choice if you live in the surrounding area to this north Georgia gem.‬

‪Couple of trails to walk on. One trail will take you to both waterfalls. Very nice water falls. The canyon is breath taking. Trails are not too strenuous. Different types of terrain to go over though.‬

‪What an incredible experience!! Beautiful park with a challenging trail that was super fun to experience and explore! We walked the trails to visit the Cherokee and Hemlock waterfalls and it was gorgeous! Then decided to walk the 5 mile loop and had some breathtaking views along the way! We’re glad we saw the waterfalls first (600 steps)! Truly beautiful and would definitely recommend! Not an easy walk but we saw folks of all ages. Enjoy!!‬

‪This is a nice park for hikers. The trails are up and down the canyon so it will be challenging for some people who are not usually hikers. We camped at the Walk-In Campsite. We hiked the West Rim Trail to the waterfalls. Something to note: The minimum stay seems to be two nights at the campsite during the weekends.

We hope to return for a longer stay possibly in a Yurt. We were just going to a Drive-In movie nearby and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. I’d recommend this State Park to families and couples for the nice trails.‬

‪My wife and I have been out celebrating our 41st anniversary. Cloudland Canyon State Park was recommended by some friends who have been there several times.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hiking and overall beauty of the park. We hiked the Waterfalls trail, taking in both Hemlock and Cherokee Falls and then did the Lookout Trail. We will be back tomorrow to do the West Rim Loop.

Be prepared for a steep climb down and up to see the waterfalls, but they are well worth it. The metal grate steps are generally easier than the slopes and stone steps, but there are a lot of them - over 600 down, and yes, back up!‬

‪We stopped here on the way to Louisiana from Ohio and hiked the overlook, west rim, and waterfalls trail. It is a beautiful place that has beautiful views and scenic waterfalls. There are tons of stairs to the waterfalls, so plan ahead. The signs to the two waterfalls were confusing and many people were upset because they thought they were going to Cherokee Falls (to the left) which required less steps. The other waterfall was pretty too but involves more steps. We were fine with seeing both waterfalls but a family with small kids were not too happy going up/down all those steps. Beautiful rocky outcrops and views but remember Cherokee falls is to your left when facing the sign.‬

‪Tent camped in site 24 in the west rim walk in area. Sadly thids "walk in" area site is probably 1/4 mile from the parking area. Difficult carrying in som heavy gear. Thundaerstorm th e firt night soaked everything. resulting in nighs apnen sleeping in the back of my Jeep. Be awar of the raccoons. They will get into evrything and what they dont eat they will scatter everywhere. This is a magnificent place of great beauty, and I will return. with better site selection and food storage. West rim camp hosts Jimmy and Stephanie are the best folks ever. Eager to help with any need. Facilities were clean and showers were hot. Der are everywhere so be sure to watch your speed in the campground and surrounding area. The visitor center has wi fi for your cell if needed. Otherwise cell reception isnt bad around the park. ‬

‪I have both tent and RV camped at this State Park. Great place to stay with a number of hikes for everyone ranging from very strenuous to easy, and fantastic canyon rim views. The rim overlook and waterfall trails are must do but will involve many steps, but to continue down on the Sitton’s Gulch Trail is the gem hike I really like as you follow the stream down a fairy tail valley with soaking pools, cascades and large boulders. Just remember its all uphill back unless someone picks you up at the bottom Trenton car park. The park is well located on a ridge but not so much out of the way for restocking if needed, and its close enough to drive into Chattanooga with its attractions if you want an alternative day or meal out. Also lots of other great hikes within a short drive. Always ready to visit again as there is so much to do in this area, so the park can also act as a great touring base.

The only downside is that this is a popular Park so can get very busy and full with people and cars on holiday weekends, and parking spots can fill up at times. The trails down to the waterfalls can also get busy. We did have a spot of bother at our campsite with the water hook up leaking at the tap connector but a minor inconvenience I hope they repair.‬
