Yes, it is open to bikes. No motorized vehicles.

There’s a visitors’ center at the Hardman farm,. The previous answer is correct. From the parking lot you walk down several sets of stairs or on a handicapped sloped ramp. There is also some walking on the tour and there are stairs in the house. If you want to walk the Heritage trail it is free and starts at the visitor center. It is paved with concrete and about a mile long. It would be fine for a stroller or wheelchair as it’s flat and wide.

When we were there in June, the trail was closed due to flooding and washouts. Not sure what the status is at this time. You might want to give them a call. The site is only open Thursday thru Sunday. You can access the grounds and visitor center without taking the tour, but there is a $6 charge to access the grounds.

There are animal fundays with live animals, events and festivals.

Ticket price for seniors is $10. Hours are 10 to 4 with last tour at 3 pm. However they are closed till March 1. There season is March 1 to December 18

It was about $12 for an adult there were discounts for seniors and children. They started the tour on the hour and it took about an hour. From the building where you buy the tickets is about 150 yards from the main house. We walked it but they did have a golf cart that some of the state workers were using. I'm not sure if they would let you use it if you had someone who couldn't walk a long way. There are stairs up to the front door and stairs inside the house. Once the tour of the house is over you are free to walk the grounds and check out the barn and other buildings. There is no restaurant at the historic site but it is just a few miles from Helen, GA that has many restaurants.
