What a great place to visit! It’s free and you can see koalas. There is educational exhibits too. There is also picnic areas, walking tracks and bike tracks.

Gorgeous green space for an afternoon among the gum trees and an interactive education centre for young and old. All abilities welcome and accessible. No cafe, no food or drink allowed in the education centre. The best time to visit is at 2pm for the chat to see the koalas most active and engaging as this aligns with their routine.
Bring a picnic, friends and take your rubbish with you. We set out for the day with no intent to go here, so had no food prepared. We stopped at a Vietnamese Bakery place near Chatswood Shopping Centre for a fab pork roll and they made fresh sandwiches to our taste for our little people.

We loved the simplicity, free opportunity for the girls to learn about Koalas and enjoy the green space.

Very nice place, clean and well maintained with plenty of parking.
We seem a few native birds, and of course the koala bears, lots of information and interesting things throughout the centre.
Koalas were very cute and awake when we came through. Although it was a bit sad when the koala inside was walking up and down beside the window as if it wanted to go outside.
The gardens and walks around are very nice with plenty of picnic spots and BBQs to use.
Will return in the future :) 4/5 ⭐

We will definitely go back again. Not only was the Koala centre very informative & had lovely Koalas for viewing there are lots of walking trails and picnic tables & barbecues for use.

Fantastic centre. Very informative, 4 easily visible koalas and free! The kids and adults both really enjoyed it. Lots of space and picnic tables to spend the day and explore.

Great for walking tracks for people of all
Fitness levels, I love that you’re able to take pets as long as they are leashed.
We got to experience wildlife and snapped some pics..

The conservation park is in two parts: the park itself which includes many paths winding through 'koala bushlands' of tall eucalypt forest and then the park HQ, which has a lot of good information on koalas, as well as more generally on endangered species, conservation etc. You can also see live koalas at the park HQ - usually ones that have had serious health issues or injuries and have now recovered, but not so much they are able to be released back into the wild. When we visited there was one male koala and three females at the centre. We spent about 40 minutes wandering around the bushland tracks, though didn't spot any koalas. One other walker said he had just seen a wallaby, so there is some wildlife there! Even if you come here and don't see any koalas up in the trees, it is still a nice place for a bushwalk, and there are picnic, BBQ facilities. Plus it is free. Quite a few locals were walking their dogs in the park and I was pleased to see they were all on leashes.

What a lovely conservation park, surrounded by beautiful bush land and picnic areas. We didn’t realise that we had to book but we were able to do so online when arrived. We did a short walk whilst we waited for our booked session. Once inside, the koalas were just delightful. They ate leaves and slept on their beaches as we quietly watched on. All the koalas are in the park due to previous health issues which have left them vulnerable or infertile. Please visit this free park to learn about koalas and what we can do the protect them in their natural habitats rather than paying to visit other wild life parks which keep animals in captivity unnecessarily just so guests can take hold and pat them.

Went for a day out with the camera to Daisy Hill Conservation Park. Very popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Dogs are permitted on some trails. It's a beautiful area and enjoyed the walk, tracks are well signed. The park rangers are friendly and keep the place tidy.
I went to the Koala centre and they have 5 residents. The centre is lovely, with info on the walls. Maybe a volunteer or staff member around to answer questions would have been nice but maybe not possible with covid restrictions. Anyway a great place to take the kids and teach them about nature but you need to book tickets in advance for admission

Kids loved the koala Centre. Played a game we
Here they were the vets looking after animals. We had lunch of fish and chips on table provided in park. Kids went for a bush walk. Very hot day but kids loved it.

Do the bbqs have tongs etc. We are visiting from interstate and have no cooking gear.

There is an IGA grocery store at the bottom of Daisy Hill Rd that sell tongs or you can borrow some of us - we live right by the gates.
