Surprised that Kite Hill Winery’s tasting room was so small. However, if weather permits there is outdoor seating on the deck overlooking the pond. Service was good. The frozen peach Bellini was very good and I did like the wine White Kite.

We did a tasting of all the wine. Our service was good. However all the wines tasted very watered down.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Kite Hill BnB while touring the wine trail near Carbondale. The winery was quaint, the owners take the time to meet you with a smile, and the wines are wonderful. Although we stayed there the owners encouraged us to visit the other wineries with nothing but positve things to say about each. The BnB is located in the heart of the wine trail, yet close to many wonderful restaurants to relax at in the evening, or you can just relax on the porch and watch the hummingbirds or stare at the stars at night. We only got to visit half of the wineries on the trail this trip, but we will see the others next trip when we revisit Kite Hill Vineyards and BnB. Thanks for making our anniversary so special.

Beautiful setting! Great wine and very friendly service!! The peach slushy was one of my favorites! I will be back!

The wine slushies here are phenomenal! We actually bought a kit of the peach bellini because it was so darn good. Would definitely recommend this winery because of the slushies. Jim was the owner here and he was very nice and informative. Smaller winery, but worth a visit!

Great place to stop and grab a slushy or glass of wine. Beautiful deck to sit and enjoy the view. Great staff that are knowledgeable in the wine offers. They have slushy/wine packages to purchase too.

this was the first stop on our wine trail. It's a quaint little shop with a outside porch with tables. The staff was nice and informative. The wines were very good. They had a frozen slush wines which were very tasty. Our group bought a lot of wine at this stop.

This was our last stop on the wine trails. It was a great ending to our experience. The man working was very friendly and welcomed us. The wine slushies were a perfect treat on a hot day. The view off the covered deck was delightful. Visit on your next wine trail trip!

This was the last winery we stopped at on our tour of the Shawnee wineries. It was pouring down rain on a late Thursday afternoon, and we were the only people there. This is a super small tasting room--only two tables. On a nice day, there is a small deck you can enjoy. The man working was extremely friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Unfortunately, as someone who likes semi- or sweet wines, they only had two wines that were not dry, and only 6 wines total on the menu. We tasted the two sweet wines and they were pretty good, but not my favorites of the day.
