I live a block from this place, so believe me when I say I wanted to love it. Massage services were a disappointment. I tried....3 times.
It is a beautiful facility. But they need more attention to detail if they want to be a destination. I plan to try again later this year.

I have been there twice for a deep tissue massage. I needed this to help with a hamstring injury from running.
The first masseuse Tatiana, was great she told me a number of things to do, and the hamstring was improving. Next week she was not there, I was given Viola to massage me. I am not sure what she did, but the hamstring is much worse than before. Plus my spine was causing me discomfort for over 5 days.
Next time I have a massage for an injury, it will be at the hospital.

My Trueblood surprised me with my Favorite thing to do(anytime) with a 90 min(could have done 3 hrs)massage. I took the red line from my hotel on Ohio st to N State st where I walked a couple blocks to this Lovely treat. My apt was for 930am I arrived at 9am. As you enter the door, you walk up these beautiful wood stairs and enter into the reception area. Very wide open and airy. The receptionist did not really seem prepared to greet me, she never looked up at my entrance, but I was there to relax and it was my birthday so I ignored her slight and told her I had an apt, she stated at 930 right. Ok, apparently I was the first timeframe, so she said have a seat. She asked did I want some water, I said yes thank you and about 15 min later I was called in. The young lady asked did I need to use the restroom, I did and she was waiting in the hallway to lead me to my wonderful surprise massage. After taking off everything but my undies, I prepared to be treated, and treated was what I received. For the life of me I cant recall the massage therapist name(because as usual I fell in love with her)Seriously If you give me the best massage ever I will fall for you for that great 90 min and probably all the rest of the day. I have asked a male therapist was he married before, but the female I'm just in awe(lol). The low relaxing music playing in the background was pleasant but I was merely saying over and over to my self, please don't stop. You see My aching 50 yr old body needs all the massaging it can get. I recommend getting one at least once a month. She massage my whole body(feets and hands). WONDERFUL SUPRISE. When I left I wanted to tip her and the receptionist once again left me hanging(just standing at the desk) and I said how do I tip, she said we don't take cards. I didn't have cash, so I walked across the street to ATM that didn't work and went around corner to Chase bank, that needed a code to enter(so no tip FOR THE WONDERFUL MASSUSE)
