During my visits to The Shops at North Bridge, located at 520 N Michigan Ave (not far from Wrigley Building, and on the same side of the avenue), I always visit L'Occitane store, which is now located in a spacious, futuristic-looking atrium of the mall, right in front of the main entrance from N Michigan Ave.
It's hard to miss this open-floor, relatively small store, beautifully designed and conveniently placed for visitors -- easy to notice, nice to shop. The ceiling -- yes, the ceiling! -- last winter and this fall (last time I was there in September of this year) looked as a vibrantly blooming, striking field of flowers, no less!
The company L'Occitane en Provence and their stores are famous for their high-quality skin care products. They offer special packages, seasonal discounts, travel sets, gift packages; their beauty consultants are qualified and just a pleasure to talk to about their cosmetic products. The store at North Bridge is no exception -- as always, the service was friendly and personable, and they even remembered their clients!
Now there are about fifty stores on all four levels of this upscale mall -- Nordstrom, APM, Giuseppa Collection, Nathalie Loma, and many other stores (directory is available online). On the second level there's a nice health bar, serving great coffee, juices and snacks -- this part of the mall is perfectly designed for the rest and relaxation of customers -- comfortable tables and chairs, plenty of light, and a lot of space.

This mall is right off of Michigan Ave. The store selections tend to be higher end but the food court is perfect for quick bites. The design of the mall is quite nice and it was spotless when I walked through it. If you are looking for brand name stores (and some non-brand name too) walking distance from most of the hotels in the area, then North Bridge is a good stop.

Chicago's Magnificent Mile is a mecca for shoppers and browsers.There are three large and distinguished shopping malls between Oak Street on the north and the Chicago River on the south. One of them is The Shops at North Bridge. Located at 520 North Michigan Avenue, near the Wrigley Building and the Chicago Downtown Marriott Magnificent Mile Hotel, it features 50 stores and 20 restaurants within nine city blocks. The complex covers 678,000 square feet of retail space and also includes five hotels, three parking garages and two office buildings. Its anchor store is Nordstrom, which occupies four floors of a full-block building. The main entrance off North Michigan Avenue is highlighted by an 80-foot atrium. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Shops at North Bridge is the number of unique stores, many of which you won't find elsewhere in the city. For shoppers, you might be familiar with Hugo Boss and White House Black Market and Sunglass Hut and Peloton. But how about The Find, Giuseppa Collection, APM Monaco, MAC Cosmetics, Habitant, Love Peridot, L'Occitane, Untuckit, Alton Lane, Faribault Woolen Company, Big City Optical, Optica and Currency Exchange International? For a lunch break, you have plenty of options, from a giant food court like Eataly to fast food from Jimmy John's and Potbelly Sandwich Works and Shake Shack to fine dining at Eddie V's Prime Seafood and Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab. For a sweet treat, stop at Royce Chocolate.

They provide charging station for mobile devices. Clean place and location is on Michigan Avenue. Large selection of stores.

I haven't been to The Shops at North Bridge for a while. Now, it pleasantly looks not as busy, as during holiday seasons. The place is designed in modern trends of vast space, light colors, easiness of access to all the shops, comfort zones for rest, minimal - but memorable - decor, etc. The main entrance and the atrium are designed in the ideas of abstract art. Thus, the whole mall imposes the air of space and 'weightlessness', so to speak. Besides all the upscale, modern shops (Nordstrom, Hugo Boss, and many others), there are also several restaurants and cafes there, and E- Bar on the ground floor is a nice feature for healthy nutrition.
I had a chance to use some Concierge Services of The Shops at North Bridge , and the Concierge Manager Devenia D. couldn't be friendlier and nicer, answering my questions in the most professional manner.
Overall, I had a very pleasant time at The Shops at North Bridge.

To avoid the sun for a bit and sample some air-con we had an explore of some shops, this area is very pleasant and worth a wander but get ready to spend.

What a lovely shopping opportunity in a beautiful area of Chicago! While I have been shopping here for years, I never tire of coming here to shop. Nordstrom has anything and everything you could want! Besides Nordstrom, there are many other shops as well as restaurants in this multilevel shopping center. There is a nearby in door parking garage which offers reduced price parking for shoppers who make even a minimal purchase at one of the North Bridge establishments. Be sure to have your parking validation done prior to returning to the garage on Wabash. Looking forward to returning soon to the North Bridge Shopping Center.

This place was a great solution for spending a rainy morning. Nice stores (Nordstorm, Papyrus and others) as well as good restaurants and a food court.
