We used to go there frequently because it used to be a fun place. They now started scanning your ID, meaning not only they check your ID but actually scan the barcode on your ID with a tablet to obtain all your personal data and save it to their computer which is not even legal. When we showed our IDs to them so that they can check our age (which is what they really should be doing) but asked to please not scan our IDs, the bouncers kicked us out and chased us off the sidewalk. They were really rude. I will never go back again.

The music is here some of the best I've heard at a bar/nightclub! It's a playlist that'll keep you dancing the entire night!
However it does get incredbily hot and crowded! To the point where it gets uncomfortable, I'd recommend turning up by the bar on the top floor (there's a basement portion that plays horrible music and even more crowded than the top floor). You want to party on the top floor where you entered the club, that DJ plays all the hits and throwbacks!
Also the people can get very aggressive here as well, people are constantly bumping into you cause it's so crowded and some of them catch an attitude! Also a lot of creeps are here too. My friend was dancing and a dude tried to kiss her neck, my friend had to confront the guy! If you come here keep your cool cause you might run into some characters you may have to check them.
This place is like the Chicago version of Purdy Lounge on South Beach only a tab bit more aggressive. The music is really good but man the people are weird at times.

Stay away from this bar unless you want trouble. Last weekend one of the bouncers kicked me and my girlfriend out because she wouldn't dance with him. We left peacefully, but the bouncer was furious. We went outside and then the bouncer hit her in the face, open palm, but she still went down to the ground.
I understand that sometimes it might require force to remove disorderly drunk people, but there is no reason for any worker to hit a girl. I never thought I would see anything like that happen, and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.
For all I know, that angry bouncer still works there, so please be careful!

I never feel like there are enough places that offer dancing and a more mature crowd - with good dance music that is not electronic.
Hangge Uppe (odd name) plays great music and the crowd dances from the moment the place opens to the moment is closes. This is a ton of fun if you enjoy the party and dance crowd.

Went her for first time last month after hearing a lot about it. I liked it a lot. I preferred the downstairs music more. However we kept wondering if there was an emergency there aren’t a lot of exits from the basements. But the pace itself was cool. And beer not too expensive considering the area it’s in.

For a group of visiting exchange students this bar was perfect! The beer was cheap, the music was good, the beer pong was competitive and the salsa night in the bottom bar kept us more than entertained. If you are in the north part of Chicago this bar is worth checking out as it has something for everyone.

Este es uno de los dos bares en Chicago que abren hasta las 4 o 5 de la mañana. Es muy divertido! En la planta baja pasan música bailable del momento, en el subsuelo clásicos del rock americano. Es genial!

We've been here a few different time and it never fails to entertain. It's a large hole in wall bar with multiple dance floors with different music playing. It never fails to have the bachelor or bachelorette party show up. The drinks are a bit pricy. If you get there early enough you can avoid the coverage charge but the place fills up quick and it is soon shoulder to shoulder. Never had a bad time here and the place definitely gets rockin if you are up for some 80's, 90's and early 2000's music.

We went to this dance club two nights in a row this weekend and had a blast. Awesome mix of classic 80s and recent hits. Not as busy Friday as on Saturday - we only had to pay a cover ($5) on Saturday. Downstairs is more classic rock music and less dancing but still fun.

Went here on a Saturday night for my sister's 30th birthday with a small group of girls, we had a blast! We got to the bar around 11:00 and did not have to wait in line at all! My sister didn't have to pay cover- the entire staff were nothing but friendly and made my sister feel special on her big day! The bartenders/waitress didn't mess up our orders or take longer than expected. We had such a great time dancing the night away! We can't wait to go back! The upper level played current hits/club music and the downstairs played everything from 50's-late 90s (all your old favorites) ;)
