I completed the Bank escape room in a group of 5. The decorations were realistic and fit the story. The puzzles were clever and different from other escape rooms I have done. It was challenging, but doable with the help of our game master Chris. He gave us a few hints that helped us think without giving anything away. I look forward to going back to try other rooms at Fox in a Box.

This place was amazing! It was my first time doing an escape room and Josh was an awesome game master! I would definitely do this again!

We did the Bank room and had so much fun! Will was an awesome guide. The puzzles were very challenging. The location had easy parking and was in a beautiful building. Thank you for a great family outing!

Party of 3. We did the Prison room and had a great time! This was our first time doing an escape room together and Ben was super accommodating and helpful. He gave us options for how we wanted to proceed and had a good attitude the entire time. Super fun guy. He even drew each of us some personalized pictures based on our codenames :D Highly recommend. Give Ben a raise.

I went with my family and had a blast. This was my second escape room experience and I loved it. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something to do!

We did the Prison room, and it was super fun! Ben was very in character and made the whole thing a valuable experience. Definitely consider one of their rooms if you’re in Chicago!

This was our first escape room experience. It was only myself and my 11 year old son. We had NO idea what to expect. Our Game Master, Will, was amazing! He helped guide us and make our first experience, The Bank, so much fun!!! We both loved it and had the best time! Thanks Will and Fox in a Box! Well done!!

My family had a blast at the prison break escape room. It’s the second room we have done, having previously done the bunker. Our guides were Ben and Isabelle, and they made our game tons of fun with their positivity and enthusiasm. Can’t wait to try another!

We had a blast excaping from the zodiac killer! Loads of fun, Blake our guide did an awesome job preparing us for the experience and providing us with some necessary clues in a fun way!

My friend and I completed the Zodiac Killer, and we had a ball. Our host, Blake, was awesome, giving us hints when necessary and bravely detaining the Zodiac Killer for a few seconds near the end so we could complete the final part of our final clue. A great experience and I would love to do more of these rooms!

when you go in the room are you being recorded on camera or is private? Don't really want to run around like idiots for other people's entertainment.

Correct! Just as Candice said above - we do not record you, but our Game Masters will follow you over a camera and microphone. This is just so we can give you appropriate hints and can follow how you are progressing through the rooms.

I am considering this experience for my team at work, but my colleague is somewhat "claustrophobic." Do you have photos of the inside of the room, or any kind of description, or reviews from other claustrophobic folks, or advice from doctors on this topic?

I tried to attach some links, but trip advisor would not let me. If you go to look at our reviews on trip advisor, you can search for claustrophobia and you will find at least 2 reviews which explain those user's experiences.

On their website it looks like there is a max of 5 people - do you know if they allow 6?

We have just completed a reorganization of all of our rooms with additions, removals and changes to some of the puzzles. We are now proud to say that we allow 6 players as a standard.
