Visited Honey Hill with my granddaughter during the Fall apple season in 2019 ..... she was so excited about the farm animals, picking apples and just the all around farm atmosphere that the smile wouldn't come off her little face. The folks at Honey Hill are always super friendly and if you don't have at least one apple cider donut with a hot cup of coffee then you're not normal. Make sure to check out Honey Hill in 2020!

Very nice orchard. This is great for small children it's not to large or commercialized like some other orchards. The donuts are so good! You can pick your own pumpkins & apples or just buy some in the store.

I took my kids here on Columbus Day, and we had a nice time. The staff members were very friendly, and it was really nice not to have to pay an admission fee. My kids are 10 and 12, and enjoyed the straw maze and the hay ride to the pumpkin patch.
I took one star away because there were only red delicious apples left for picking, and no raspberries. It would have been nice to see this on the website. (But then I might not have come, and would have missed out on a fun morning!) Surprisingly, these red delicious are actually tasty, not like the mealy nastiness we all remember from our youth.
There were a lot of people there today, but it never felt crowded or overwhelming. We loved the donuts, had a simple lunch (hot dogs for my son, BBQ pork sandwiches for my daughter and me) and left with apples and pumpkins and fresh air in our lungs.
I will definitely go back next year. Maybe earlier, though, so I can pick other varieties of apples...

If you're looking for a pure orchard experience without the distractions, Honey Hill is the place to go. It was a bit of a drive for us, but the signage on Perry Rd. just past 23 was very helpful. If you are coming from the north, slow down and be ready to turn at the first driveway past the overhead power lines. If you get to Waterman Winery, you went too far.
The initial parking area south of the house is small so you will likely need to park in the grassy lot. This was a little confusing for us at first, but if you keep heading toward the circle, you will see how the (gravel) driveway goes to the right and downhill to the grassy parking area.
The orchard is very large and offers u-pick raspberries along with the apples. We really liked that you don't have to pay for each person who enters the orchard, only for the bags. I knew my son would want his own bag, so I bought two, but my daughter and her boyfriend only purchased one.
The set-up is smart. While parents are waiting in line for the tractor/wagon ride out to the orchard; you can monitor your kids playing in the "hay maze" just in front of you. They also have a small petting zoo. The "hay maze" and petting zoo are not additional costs. It would be prudent to make a pit stop before heading out to the orchard. There are 2 restrooms with flush toilets in a small red building just behind the garage/across from the silo.
We had a super time and found plenty of apples on both sides of the creek. Even though the grassy lot was full, the orchard did not feel crowded. When you are ready to head back to the barn, just wait near the drop off point and when the next wagon comes with pickers, you can hitch a ride back - it would be quite a walk, especially with tired little ones.
Instead of everything being in one behemoth barn, they have 3 separate areas for shopping convenience. Apples (varieties that are no longer available as u-pick), cider, (their very own) honey, jams and jellies, housewares and gifty items are in one section. The Feeding Trough (cash only) serves ice cream, cider slushies and slices of pie. No visit to an orchard would be complete without a stop to the bakery for cider donuts. $9.50 per dozen (about what you would pay for a dozen at Dunkin), not outrageous for a small family owned business.
We had perfect weather and a great time and are sure to be back.

I've been here twice and it's just good, clean fun! You can pick apples, pumpkins, eat cinnamon donuts and drink cider, ride the tractor, play with animals, purchase general store like goods, and simply enjoy the countryside!

This establishment is family owned and operated. We have enjoyed apple picking here for six years. We love the wagon ride out to the orchards and enjoy picking them right off the tree! We end our day with cider donuts to take home or eat in the car! We have also enjoyed the "Feeding Trough and Bakery" and have purchased gifts and delicious treats from the County Store. This is a very delightful place.

We have been coming to Honey Hill for years now. It is smaller than some but that is a plus for us. Went again today and even on opening weekend, it wasn't too busy. Huge amounts of you-pick-raspberries that were so lovely that it was hard to stop picking! There was only one type of apple to pick today so we just bought a bag in the barn. And lovely apple cider donuts. The men that were working the raspberry stand were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Honey Hill will continue to be our go-to orchard! No parking fee, no fee for anything unless you pick fruit. Plenty of picnic tables.

Honey Hill is only open in the late summer and early fall. One can pick one's own apples and raspberries or buy them in the wonderful old barn. There are a few farm animals for petting and come October it's a great place to get pumpkins. Their home made cider is delicious as are the donuts they make from it in their own bakery. Great pie and taffy apples, too. They also offer lots of other items for sale like relishes and jams and trinkets. A great place to visit in the fall.

Decided to try this area orchard this year. Signs on roads leading up to the orchard were helpful, but then I passed it right up as there weren't any significant signs up close to the property. Went on a Thursday and can imagine it would be crazy busy on a weekend. Overall disappointed in the price of apples this year-a 1/2 peck of Gala's were 9.50. Couldn't bring myself to spend $19 on the same amount of honey crisp or the almost $5 for a single caramel apple. Since I did drive all the way there, I splurged on a 1/2 dozen cider donuts for $4.50-very tasty, but not sure if totally worth the price. Prices may be competitive with other orchards, but I think I may be purchasing at the grocery store as the taste is about the same....
