‪The people at the admission gate are always cheerful and friendly. The pool is really nice. HOWEVER, the lockers at the pool are maddening! They don't function properly, and it's dicey at best if you can ever get it unlocked again. The lifeguard told me that they don't advise using them. Well, that would have been helpful--IF they had put a sign up or stopped me in the process! Another lifeguard told me that they keep putting signs up that the lockers are not functioning, but people keep tearing them down. Other than that frustration, the park and pool are great.‬

‪Lots of campsites available‬

‪Hearing all the horror stories about full campgrounds and RV parks we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem at only about 20% full . Nice level spots well spaced and lots and lots of tall trees . We were only passing through but looked like great spot to spend awhile !‬

‪Unbelievable‬

‪I and a group of friends, family, and children were there for the weekend, all was well until the asst manager made it his business to tell us that they aren't used to "COLORED PEOPLE" at this camp site. We were all dissapointed and shocked at this behavior from an employee of one of the indiana state parks.‬

‪Stop and Enjoy the View‬

‪While on a road trip we saw signs for this place. Decided we needed some time out of the car so we stopped; and so glad we did. $9.00 for an out of state day pass, but it does get you into the other state park locations nearby; if you have the time. We just enjoyed the waterfalls and the trails. You need to be in reasonably good health to hike some of the areas. There are no handrails, and some of the trails are steep and quite slippery after it rains.

Make sure you put on mosquito repellent; they are out there. There are many photo opportunities of the falls. These are not the largest falls you will ever see, but there are several miles of beautiful river and falls to view. There are also various places you can drive your vehicle to, park on the side of the road, and enjoy a picnic and swim in the river.

If you live near hear you should definitely take the time so spend the day here with your family. If you are on a road trip and find yourself near here; it's worth stopping in.‬

‪Really Enjoyed Ourselves and Learned a Lesson‬

‪We booked our camp site on line. Very easy. We arrived and they had our reservation. Very organized.

We made our way to our campsite and found that a Church group with two sites had accidently set up in our site. THIS IS WHERE I MADE MY MISTAKE. We are first time campers and agreed to set up in the site the group had not used. The problem is that we were staying for two days and they were only there for one. The next day the people who booked the site we were in, arrived. We had to break down and move our whole camp to our original site. LIVE AND LEARN.

The bathrooms were very clean. My wife was very impressed.

We spend the day at the pool. It looked new. Very nice changing rooms. There is a two story slide, plenty of seating, and a sand volleyball court. We really enjoyed it. AND, it only cost three dollars to get in. Nice.

The park is constantly patrolled by park staff. We saw a truck pass by our site every few hours.

We rode our bikes around the park. We found it the best way to see everything.

We stopped into the camp store to pick up some firewood and ice. They were very well stocked. Super nice lady working the cash register.‬
