This school is just awful! The playground is dangerous and covered in trash. The school does not have a 5th grade teacher. They have 5th graders in with their very small middle school class. There are a total of 6 kids in the entire middle school, and the teachers do not have proper certifications. The Dean of Students also does not have the proper credentials. She is a bully and dishonest. They can not keep teachers and started this school year with 150 students. Currently they have less than 50 and the preschool started with 24 and is now down to 11 students. The principal was given her job because of her parents past law suits with the archdiocese and standing in the community. She is incompitent and rude on her best days. The school is more of a cult at this point with only a few remaining families who intimidate each other into staying. There are so many other great options for a school. Please do not send your child to this school or put your family through being a part of this horrible establishment. They cover up mental and physical abuse and allow bullying as long as the student is one of the elite families. The Dean of Students and Secretary and Art and Spanish teacher are all related. They can not keep a PE teacher because the gym is also the cafeteria and the music room. This is a sad excuse for something they call a school, but the lack of students and proper certified staff as well as shabby state of the school speak for themselves.

Within a small church in Lima, Peru, and by a side altar, one can see an altar with three saints. Better known in the United States are Sts.Rose of Lima and Martin de Porres. St. Juan Mecias is the other saint. Visible are skulls and small coffins.
It is a small church and we were able to find it with the help of a private guide. We were able to see it just before it closed - it is not open all day.

The Knights of Columbus do a fantastic job with the Lenten Friday fish fry. Where can you get fish, fries, tac n cheese apple sauce, cole sale and a drink for $8.00?
