We thought we would be able to pick apples here the 2nd week of September, but there were no apples to pick. There were a few in the market to buy, but the setup was not very appealing. Maybe IN is not the place for apples?
We were visiting our Purdue student daughter so we took the trailer ride around the farm. It was very pretty and the little man driving it was kind to us. The ride was free, too.
Nice way to spend a couple of hours in the fall.

Have a good variety of apples. You can pick your own or buy what is in the shop already picked. Try a cider smoothy-you'll like it. Also, have e selection of honey, jams, etc. Not a lot to do but a good place to let the kids run around and help pick some apples.

We LOVE the orchard, and my kids feel right at home here, and love doing the You Pick! The apple cider slushies in the summer are an absolute MUST have, and in the Winter I love that they hold the makers market and have such charming holiday activities for family! We really enjoyed the makers market and they had hot cocoa and warm cider and cookies, and the kids got to get pictures with Santa, and I got to get some really unique one of a kind Christmas gifts, all in one stop! I know right??? Love it!

My friend pick me up and we went to this Orchard because she wanted some apples and cider. They had a good selection of apples and cider and homemade apple butter. The cashier was very nice and her customer service was great.

We happened to stumble across this orchard one random Sunday afternoon while browsing the internet to find something to do in or around the Lafayette area. First time apple picking and didn't disappoint! This is a fun outdoor activity which we really enjoyed. There's a barn which has been converted to a shop, stocked full of apple products (jams, butter and the like), they even have scented candles and lots of samples to try. You grab a paper bag and make your way to the orchard which is just a stone's throw away and get to pick from the many varieties of apple they have there (and you get to sample them as you go along; if you don't like the apple you've tried just leave it on the ground). Once you're done, you head back to the barn-store where they weigh your bag and check out. The apples are sweet and crunchy. Not sure if they're organic though.
There's also a pumpkin patch behind the orchard if that's something you'd be interested in and a barn where it looked like a private event of some sort was going on.
All in all, a fun outdoor activity. Great for all age groups. To top it off, they also have a cute little dog running around the premises.

This is a hidden treasure! We bought a home nearby and am happy to be so close! The personnel are great. Product of high quality. And the facilities easy to get to! Highly recommend!

I guess I just anticipated way more for a fall afternoon. There just wasn't much there. We may have just hit it on a bad time but I just thought that there would be way more in the shop. It was just empty. I did hear that the building that rents for weddings, etc. is pretty well in use a lot.

If you like fruits such as peaches and apples this is the place to go. The owners and staff are extremely nice and very helpful to make sure you pick the best fruit. They have apple cider, salsa's, homemade items and apple butter. The peach salsa is delicious. It did not sound the best tasting but it really is. Great pumpkin patch also. I heard it is a great place to get married and have a reception. Tractor wagon rides too.

Was recommended by a friend to visit while we were in the area. Went out of our way to find & spent 5 mins. there. Nothing special. Just an old barn with gift items & apples. Very plain.

I've been picking apple from here for a few years now and I love their apples and the orchard itself. Also, their honey is fantastic. On sunny days it's so nice to walk around the apple trees and the pumpkin patches surrounded by a peaceful rustic scenery. The staff is especially nice people: we were carrying some big bags of apples, and the tour tractor guy stopped and offered to help, without us even asking.

yes, we do them quite often in fact. Our biggest problem is trying to find a date that is not a Friday or Saturday night since we reserve those for weddings.
