Great for the whole family to visit and enjoy the water. Lots of water for the little ones and the bigger ones too. The lazy river is long and refreshing. Lifeguards are everywhere to help with the kiddos. Food is a bit pricy and you cannot bring anything in but you can go back and forth to your car with a hand stamp.

A miniature version of a big water park. We took our handicapped grandson. Friendly, knowledgable teenaged staff. Lots to do. Clean, food and drink available. Highly recommended.

River Run has something for everyone... everyone who loves the water, that is! There is not a better place to be in this hot weather. River Run has a low water area for babies and toddlers, water slides for kids, teens and adults, a lazy river and 3 foot water area with a little boat for kids. They also have a swimming pool 3-5 feet deep. The kids love it! They have chairs and a few umbrellas, as well.

WE brought our granddaughter here. She was visiting from out of state. We arrived just as the park had opened and there were few people in the pool. She didn't want to go in when no kids were in yet. The very nice female lifeguard asked two little girls if they would play with my granddaughter, and they did! She was so happy to have buddies (other than her dad) to play with in the water. That lifeguard was so kind! The park and water are very clean, and it is a great place for families! Plus they also have exercise sessions during the week before the park opens at 11 am.

Lots of rules. It is clean. No food or water can go in. You can’t be out of arms length for children under 5, which is fine if you only have one child.

Our family loves this water park and since it’s opened we’ve been season holders. Bring a empty Trevis cup and have it refilled with water and ice while there. Come early to get good seating. They have a sunscreen station too near entrance. They do check bags for safety too. Lots of slides and lazy river options PLUS a section of pool to swim and a baby and toddler splash areas too.

Took our grandsons to the River Run Family Waterpark and found it very pleasant. Facilities were clean and for a summer day not overly crowded. Our grandsons had a very enjoyable time. Highly recommended.

We came here due to complications with our visit to Kentucky Kingdom. We Googled local water parks and this was one that popped up for us. We could not have been more pleased with this park! The water park was clean, the staff were polite, it was not overcrowded, and the slides were fun for my daughter, and my husband and I! :) We live about 2 hours away, and wish we had a park like this in our area. Thank you for making a weekend trip that busted into a very nice family trip!!!!

I took my grand kids here and they had a blast! It is clean with plenty of space for everyone. The staff is friendly. I will defiantly come back. I am thinking about getting a pass next year.

This is my very favorite thing to do with my kids in the summer. Since I am a Floyd County resident, I can buy a pass for my whole family, and we can go any time we'd like. I recommend weekdays, particularly towards the dinner hour, when things empty out.
The water park can be crowded, but if you are patient, you can do any slide you want. It is very safe, clean and a terrific asset.
