‪What a great smaller zoo. Have been trying to see as many zoos as we can. Great array of animals, the park is clean, not very crowded when we went, about 2 hours before it closed. Wish it was closer to where we live.‬

‪Nice smaller zoo, the kids really enjoyed the mix of animals and activities. Buy your train and carousel tickets in the gift shop.‬

‪My sister and I have been zoo regulars for years. We go several times over the season. We love the walkways, cleanly kept animals and the lunch spot! Perfect place for sisters to catch up on each other's lives and spend several hours in the fresh air!! Can't wait to feed the giraffes..‬

‪This was Zoo #54 for us. It is a medium sized zoo, so plan on 1.5- 2.5 hours. This zoo had a great mix of " must see" ( Lion, Monkeys, Tiger, Otters) and Unique Animals ( Sand Cat, Ant Eater, and Red Pandas.

They had a great Flamingo exhibit and a Bison Feeding. Will visit next time in town ‬

‪My girlfriend absolutely loves the zoo. So when we had a free day on a weekend, it was a perfect opportunity to head to the Potawatomi Zoo. While it is not an exceptionally large zoo, it has plenty of different animals to see. With a simple layout, you can easily see everything in a few short hours. Additionally, the zoo was very clean and the staff were friendly.‬

‪Small, historic, zoo but expanding‬

‪We went on Father’s Day with the family in the morning as they were opening. The animals were active and staff were friendly. There was a lot of shade and places to sit. The zoo is working on a larger lion exhibit and the addition of giraffes too. Very clean and courteous. My nephews enjoyed the feeding of the farm animals experience (goats, donkeys, alpacas).‬

‪Hidden gem‬

‪What a hidden gem this place is! Wanted to take the grandkids to the zoo, but wanted to avoid large crowds. Since I have a membership to a local zoo, I looked up reciprocal zoos nearby and saw this one. Located in a neighborhood in South Bend, it features a lion, two different leopard species, a white rhino And more smaller animals. The enclosures are small, but well maintained with toys and other stimuli to keep the animals occupied. Very affordable, masks and social distancing in place. Can’t wait to take out of state grands when they come to visut!‬

‪Zoo Zoo We love the Zoo‬

‪My sister in law, her grandkids & myself spent a beautiful summer day walking thru & enjoying all the wonderful array of animals. They had a little kiddie train for a price, that looked like fun. Overall a relaxing walk. The kids sure enjoyed it. I must say it has grown to a larger size, with animals & events going on, then when I lived down here in Indiana 30yrs ago. What kid doesn't like the zoo? & so will you. Oops! I'm a poet & didn't know it. Lol! Have Fun!!!!‬

‪The Amazing Potawatomi zoo a must see in the summertime and a must see in December for the December zoo lights on display at night .... and enjoy the train ride around the zoo and enjoy the sites and sounds that are all around you .... and hot coco as well .....and by a cute t shirt at the gift shop. ‬

‪We attended a private party here. They have done a lot of work here and are still doing more. Exhibits look very nice and animals seem healthier. Lots of support buildings and nice amenities.‬
