Just drove around campus. Beautiful green lush lawns and architecture is incredible. Every building is interesting and the kids even enjoyed the drive.

We had the best time at the Notre Dame football game! Such a fun and friendly atmosphere! The marching band was fabulous as well. Would love to go again!

Whether or not you're a fan of Notre Dame football (I'm not), you have to see the stadium. It is simple but very impressive with no bad sight lines (they need to move the flagpole, though, it blocks the view of the game). Notre Dame is an iconic and storied program and the stadium reflects that. If you have an opportunity to see a game there, take advantage of it.

The campus of Notre Dame is the EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD IMHO!!!! The Stadium is so beautiful, even if you aren't a football fan. The view of "Touchdown Jesus" from the stadium is breathtaking. And of course, the Golden Dome, the Gotto and the Basilica are can't miss highlights as well.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon in August, well before the start of the semester. We took advantage of a free hour of parking in the nearby lot, and did a brief walk around the football stadium. Even though we couldn't go in, it was a nice experience to be in the presence of one of the most historic stadiums in the game. Each entrance was named for, and had a statue of, famous coaches in the program's history.

An imposing stadium that with a sold out attendance of 77'000 fans had a great atmoshpere. We chose a rivalry game between Notre Dame and USC and it was a great call, stadium at capacity and the fans cheering the whole game.
Taligate before the game is also a big part of the fun.

The seats were easy to find and there was enough room you did not feel as if you were sitting on someone's lap. The concessions were reasonably priced for football and no beer was served. It is a great place to watch a game even from the visitors seats.

Stop piping in obnoxious loud music and fake crowd cheers that blocks out the real fans cheers at the ND football stadium
Apparently The SVG department operates on its own and pipes in loud music before and during the game! I’ve seen many online complaints online on this problem but apparently ND doesn’t get that they are killing the fan experience.

The game day Notre Dame experience is one of the most electric experiences you can have in sports. Passionate students section, the band, flyovers by the military….raises the hair on the back of your neck. Get a ticket and go.

We are planning a trip to a Bears (Thursday) game in Chicago, then to South Bend for a Noter Dame game, then to Indy for a Colts (Sunday) game. Thinking we will probably have to rent a car. Looking for alternate suggestions. Thanks.

What endzone section 50$ seats would you recommend. I like the idea of being in the north zone near band n student body but don't want the sun in my eyes, is that n issue or no?. I also like isle seats, is that ever a problem with room. Also, can I bring a seat cushion. Ty in advance

Want to surprise hubby for his 60th birthday...a weekend trip to Notre Dame. Game tour etc. is there a package deal that I can buy? Would be flying in from New Jersey. Any information would be greatly appreciated. TYIA.

I don't know of any package deals for ND football week-end. I can tell you that a $80 a night hotel will cost $300 to $400 a night, and a $350 hotel will charge close to $1,000 a night, so your best bet might be to fly into Chicago and drive up for the day, only about 85 miles or so. You can also take a party train or limo to ND. I have done both and had a great time on the train, and the limo was also a great experience. You could call Anthony Travel in South Bend and see if they have any packages. Another idea is to go to Ireland in 2020 to watch ND play Navy in Dublin. There are packages for this through Anthony Travel.

Many options. I know the White lot is open to public and is $30.They have a shuttle that takes you right to the campus. You could walk, but it's a long one. There is parking all around the campus perimeter in business lots. Nothing much less than $30. Have a great time!

The WiiFi is really pretty good in the stands no matter where you sit. I am not sure about down on the field. No cost or password needed. It is in the railings as you walk up and down. We send photos and text without issues throughout the game. Go Irish!

We are flying in from Ottawa Canada October 18 for Garth brooks concert October 20...I guess no stadium tours?? Also we will be going from hotel to stadium early on the 20th by Uber or cab....how do I arrange for Uber or cab after show???we are on the field f11 .

Yes, you can schedule a stadium tour. There are various crossroads in which Uber can pick you up. The most common spot would probably be in front of the library.
