‪Very Interesting Visit‬
الأصدقاء • أكتوبر 2021
‪A group of us 16 people visited Bentley Priory and from the beginning of our visit to the moment we left the people at the Priory were so efficient friendly but professional. On arrival we were greeted at the door and given our entrance badges by a very friendly lady who pointed out the cafe and toilets. As we had about 20 minutes before our guided tour we all decided to get a drink. Again the service here was excellent. Our guide then introduced himself to us and we began our one hour tour. Our guide was Bruce who was very informative and interesting and was quite happy to answer questions. It was so good the hour seemed to just fly by
All aspects and the history of the place and building were so good. There is also a 10 minute film the Italian gardens and a life size model of the Spitfire and Hurricane out on the green. We spent about three and a half hours there and that worked out just about right. A very good history lesson indeed. Thank you all at Bentley Priory.‬

‪Great blend of architecture and military history.‬
يوليو 2021
‪The museum is very different from most military museum. Great interpretation to the highest standard in the confines of a mansion. A really nice blend of architecture and military history. The grounds are well tendered with a secret bunker hidden in the corner. The café was lovely and so where the staff and volunteers.‬

‪Visited in the 81st anniversary of the start of the battle of Britain. Excellent experience‬

‪Attended the tour lead by Bruce.

He explained the history of fighter control, the importance of the Polish air force, the advances in technology which enabled advances in success at the battle of Britain. He was very knowledgable, funny and helpful.

The museum is compact, so you can see everything in 2-3 hours.‬

‪So much more than a museum visit‬
يونيو 2021
‪A most interesting museum where you are made to feel extremely welcome. The displays relating to WW2 are fascinating and well-presented, don't miss visiting the bunker a short walk away. The building itself with its Sir John Soane (architect) and Queen Adelaide (widow of William IV) connections is a real bonus plus those beautiful restored Italian gardens and extensive view.

Easy to find with theHA7 3HT postcode, easy parking and a lovely cafe - I had just a coffee and the Spitfire biscuit but it all looked lovely.‬

‪Very pleasant afternoon‬
يونيو 2021
‪The Gardens and view towards Harrow are gorgeous. The cafe does one of the better coffee and cake offerings. All staff are keen, welcoming and knowledgeable. Nobody is trying to strip cash off you . The building is a very pleasant environment and the exhibits are full of interest. Everything is open but must be pre-booked because of the pandemic.

The sequencing of the exhibits could be improved with the history of the building leading to the Adelaide Room (with better exhibits and items about the Queen's life in legible form) and then onto the Battle of Britain spaces. The Rotunda should lose the "Courage" and similar exhortations in favour of the excellent stories on the wall.‬

‪A great find‬

‪Well worth a visit - there are only a few rooms but it's really interesting to appreciate the value of RAF systems during WW2 - essential back up for the pilots. Plenty of parking and a nice, reasonably priced, cafe as well. Staff are friendly and helpful.‬

‪Well worth the Visit‬
سبتمبر 2020
‪There building internals are very decorative. The Italian gardens are beautiful. The cafe is lovely and perfect for lunch.

It's a half day out really so if you visit, so book with that in mind unless you are the type to take your time and read/study everything then you could stretch it out. You might take your children if they are patient and will read, there aren't any activities aimed at young children/infants.

Displays are excellent and the knowledgable staff gave great accounts of what happened there with the airforce, radar and intelligence. Very informative, its a good idea to visit Bletchley Park as well to learn about code breaking which ties in with it.

You could go on a rainy day but you'd have to have lunch inside and probably wouldn't appreciate the garden as much.

It's a shame you can't walk around the rest of the grounds, it would be a nice walk to add to the day.‬

‪A very interesting part of history tucked away. A must for all those interested in the Battle of Britain.‬
سبتمبر 2020
‪Beautiful well kept grounds leading to an historic building on the outskirts of London housing all the information you need to know about the Battle of Britain. Easy to get to and a must for all those interested in the Battle of Britain. The volunteer guide was engaging and very informative. The film at the start of the tour was interesting and gave a comprehensive look at the large contribution of Air Chief Marshall Hugh Dowding to the Battle of Britain and the success of their efforts from this beautiful building.

Thanks to the volunteers who give up their time freely to keep this part of history so alive.
The cost is under a tenner. Great value.‬

‪Now in the middle of a luxury housing estate with gated entry. It’s a beautiful building and you can imagine all the history that has past through the building. A great museum which was fighter command. Take time to visit the cafe for a lovely tea and cake. Loved the sticky toffee cake. Also visit the lovely garden with views over Harrow ‬

‪Remarkable‬
فبراير 2020
‪I visited with a group about a week ago on a non public day. The place is a hidden gem & for anyone with an interest in the Battle of Britain a visit is a must. We were very courteously received & started with coffee & biscuits as we were divided into three groups for a detailed tour. Our group was led by Sharon who clearly knew her stuff, and more importantly know how to put it over, including the technical bits in a fascinating & lively manner. Before & after a soup & sandwich lunch we could then explore individually & study the many exhibits, and also take a walk in the grounds.‬
