‪This tour feels like a must do if you’re in Louisville. The factory itself is smaller than expected, but it was a neat experience with some cool history.‬

‪The museum was great. The kids loved walking around and reading the facts. They had a demonstration inside how they sanded the bat by hand along with branding it. They were able to answer any questions that were asked. The tour was awesome. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We went on a Saturday so there weren't any people working. They have batting cages as well.‬

‪Great tour, better when museum is re-opened‬

‪Unfortunately, the museum is under renovation, so it was really only a factory tour and gift shop. Still, the tour itself is a great experience for any baseball fan. I'd suggest that until the museum is re-opened, they should reduce the entry price, though.‬

‪I am not a big baseball fan, in fact not at all, but the Louisville Slugger bat is so iconic, that I thought this would be interesting. It was. We got to be taken into the factory part where they make the bats and found out many interesting facts. There are custom bats requested by many players. There are three kinds of wood that are used to make bats and people have different preferences about which wood to choose. Part of the museum is under renovation so we could not see all of it. There is even a batting cage where, for a small fee, you can take a swing! I would recommend this museum and factory.‬

‪Really cool tour shows you how they make the bats from start to finish, lots of interesting information and you can walk around and learn more about the players at the beginning. At the end, they give you a small bat as a take away which is now proudly at my home back in London (for anyone wondering, yes it was allowed on the plane!)‬

‪Visitors get an informative tour about the company’s history and about it making novelty bats and bats for professional baseball teams. There is a nice gift shop. There are some interesting museum exhibits that are quick to go through.‬

‪Love that it wasn't too crowded, that's the advantage of traveling off season. Unfortunately the disadvantage is that off season is when repairs, construction,.. take place, so there wasn't a lot to see museum wise. None the less, we enjoyed the tour and even got a mini bat included in the tour price. Def. recommend it.‬

‪Must see for any baseball fan.‬

‪As a sports fan, seeing this was something you had to do. As a woodworker, this was a must! Seeing how a piece of wood is selected and becomes a piece of equipment was a really cool process. And seeing how a lot of it is still done by hand was something special. Try the batting cage is you have a chance.‬
