This is an excellent tour. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Grant was a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend staying for an awesome cocktail after the tour and tasting.

Our distillery tour was facilitated by Rick. Masterful!!! Thorough, knowledgeable, humorous, Supported the brand, the family, the production crew and the product. Rick was thoroughly engaging with complete sincerity throughout. Nothing choreographed, here! Thanks Rick!

I visited this distillery today. My tour was hosted by Grant. This guy is phenomenal. The jokes and voice tones made this tour very interesting. He is extremely informative. If you are new to bourbon, Grant is the perfect tour guide. He breaks the process down in terms where an individual with little knowledge can understand. He also teaches you how to drink bourbon at the end of the tour.

The bourbon and rye are excellent, but that’s not why I am inspired to write this review. We had such an incredible experience that I had to write about it and share. We went on a long weekend with 5 couples and saw a bunch of distilleries and horses. They were all great, but this is the only review I am writing because the tour that Bailee gave us was so memorable. She has an energy that is contagious about her passion for the process. She went into all the details while giving us a hands on and tasting tour. My favorite part was about halfway through I asked her how long she’s been there and she said 2 months, but only giving tours on her own for a month. The machines are all incredible, but the walking tour with Bailee made it a place we will return and I’ll be drinking their bourbon and rye.

We had an excellent tour with Bailee. The most informative and interesting tour we had out of three on the day.
Very interesting to taste the mash and pure distillate to get a sense of the transformation across the process.

The distillery tour was great - enjoyed seeing a working distillery "as it is" without a bunch of fluff. The tour guide was knowledgable and the tasting was informative. The only complaint is that their prices for their own bourbon in the on-site shop are higher than local retail prices - not sure why ?

We just did this tour and had a great time. Kevin was so knowledgeable and his jokes were great! You should definitely take a tour when you come down to Louisville ❤️

Fun tour! It was more of a typical, here is this, here is that type tour with some education thrown in. However, our guide Donchika was what made it extra fun! We had never tried their bourbon before, and I am glad we did. Overall, very cool and modern place. We just like the more historical bourbon brands. Really good chocolates served during your tasting, that you can buy in the gift shop!

Didnt take the tour as the tours were booked for the day. So walk the shop and the prices were extremely high. All the merch was extremely high. So walked out with nothing. No one came by to ask if we needed any help with anything.

Great experience! We came for a day trip and didn't know what to expect. Kate (our tour guide) was lovely and super knowledgeable. Liked it so much I'm bringing my friends who come to visit soon!

We are planning a quick trip to Kentucky later this week (just a Fri and Sat) to do some bourbon tasting. We aren't interested in the tours, as we have seen them before... do you have any thoughts/recommendations on how to best go about tasting only. Many of the websites imply that reservations are required, and many are "full". Can we taste in the gift shops? Are there bars that specialize in the different Kentucky Bourbons?

Most of the bars in the bourbon district offer flights of a particular brand or two. You can indeed do just the tastings and not the tours as well at virtually all of the distilleries.

Any chance you’ll take up this local distillery-made hand sanitiser challenge? I can’t post web links, but distilleries from oregon to nc to ga and in the uk are all making hand sani for their communities

No, guests under 21 do not require a paid ticket, but they do need a guardian 21 or over.

How long is the tour? 30 min ? I hour?
The tour and tasting experience is about an hour.

How long does the craft coctail class last? Starts at 5:30, but no end time is given...

I only did the tour and tasting, which was about an hour as this class was not offered last month. The bar area had several "specialty" drinks available for purchase, Which I would imagine what the class is learning to make. The bartender was fabulous. I would guess at least a couple of hours, with the availability to stick around longer if you want to. I have done classes similar to this one and that was the average length.
