Stephanie did a great job teaching and leading our group. Had a great time and 10/10 recommend for older age groups. Enjoy!

Flying Axes was a very neat place to visit. Our coach (Matthew, we believe) was great! Extremely helpful and fun. Neither of us had ever done axe throwing before and he made the experience a total success. We only booked for an hour, but would’ve definitely loved to have had at least two hours.

This place was so cool! It was busy on a Friday afternoon, highly recommend reservations. Staff was nice and worked us in between reservations as walk-ins. The have a bar with a decent selection of canned beers. Our coach made all the difference and gave valuable instruction. Give it a try!

There were a party of four for my husband birthday and we loved this ! We had a great time ! The service was great and our Coach was fun and entertaining!

The staff acts like they are the worlds best axe throwers. The guy we had was very awkward to be around. They do not give you the allotted time you pay for. They make the experience not as fun.

We went to Flying Axes to celebrate a family member’s birthday and it was far more fun than I had anticipated! Each group is assigned a coach and ours was Dalton. He was super friendly, incredibly helpful and encouraging, and like his colleagues, he stressed the importance of safety. We had an absolute blast and with Dalton’s coaching, we all successfully hit the target! The rest of the staff was great and they have a nice selection of beer, soft drinks and water. Get your team together and throw some axes!

I bought a Flying Axes gift certificate for my spouse and teen son for Christmas 2018. They need a nudge to try new things ... Flying Axes was a huge hit!
We had an excellent coach, Matt (beard Caucasian fellow) who interacted well with the 50-something parents and the teen son. Fun and informative but not uptight, a great fit for us.
If you're looking for something unique to do in the 'Ville, give Flying Axes a try. The environment has a hip urban vibe, but not so hip that Grandmas won't feel welcomed. There are drinks to sip while you're throwing and classic pop and rock tunes playing.
Make sure to leave your open toed shoes at home. If you don't, you'll be wearing a pair of communal Crocs that they supply ...

We had a group of 8 of us that were throwing for the first time and what a BLAST we had! Granted we didn't get our axe to stick into the boards very often but when it did it was very exciting! Their setup was great and the fact that you have a dedicated coach working with the group (we had 2 coaches based on the numbers we had) was great. They were great at working to get your footwork and positioning right to give you a chance to be successful. Everyone in the group had an AWESOME time

No, they do not but you are allowed to bring in outside food and even have food delivered. There are also many awesome restaurants within 2-4 walking blocks including Garage Bar, Galaxie, Mayan Cafe, Naive, Rye, Butchertown Pizza Hall, Royals, Decca, and Feast.
