‪Do not miss this‬

‪We had dinner and then looked at the art. For me, the quality of the art was outstanding and I have been in modern art museums in many international cities. The restaurant was also way beyond our expectations. The food was top notch/‬

‪Always the best‬

‪My wife and I have stayed here 8 to 10 times in the last 10 years and it’s always a great experience. We love Proof, the cutting edge art, the design of the hotel, its location, the room amenities, and the staff, both in the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. Our meals (dinner and brunch) were especially good this weekend. Proof, and downtown, had a low key January vibe. I do wish the in-room TVs had the art channel, which used to be fun to have on in the background. The TV now is overly complicated (Chromecast instructions were straightforward but I never got it working). The Nespresso machine, though, works great and makes fantastic coffee. I’d highly suggest a night or two here as a romantic getaway if you’re a foodie or into modern art and design. You won’t be disappointed.‬

‪If you have kids, stick to the left or the right and they will love it. If you go straight, there is some art with nudity in it…so plan accordingly.‬

‪Super cool swanky hip artsy boutique hotel‬

‪Sweet Jesus this was a cool place! We were in town for just one night. Wish we had more time. The lobby is a legit modern art display and very cool. The check in staff was very accommodating. Just a heads up you do need to valet park or self park which is $22-$32. We valeted since we had 2 small kids and there were very helpful. The night we checked in there was a string quartet playing that we caught the end of. This place is definitely more for couples but we survived with 2 kids 8/5 years. The fridge in the room is pre-stocket as a mini bar so you can’t put any of your own cold drinks in. The bathroom in our room was a trip - as it had a black light in it and my kids thought they were at a rave. The hotel is very gay friendly so if your offended please go elsewhere. The attached restaurant is super cool but had a few suggestive pieces of art on it - we didn’t care but again just a heads up. We loved it so much we are seeking out other 21c hotels in different cities.‬

‪Definetely worth a visit, quite impressive‬

‪I enjoyed this museum/gallery and found the pieces on display more interesting and impressive than what was at the Speed Museum. I am sure I spent more time here than at the Speed Museum too. A very interesting mix of contemporary sculpture, video art, prints, paintings, photography and mixed media using surprising and unusual materials. If you enjoy innovative, creative modern art, this gallery is a must see! ‬

‪Amazing and Unique Museum/ Hotel Experience!‬

‪I was super excited to stay at this museum/ hotel, as I had dined at their onsite restaurant and spotted the cute signature red penguin on previous trips to Louisville. The hotel did not disappoint! Our room (standard King) was elegant, clean, and the bed very comfy. I *loved* that our bathroom had a cute little rubber duck in the shower and yes, black lights! The high-end toiletries were particularly impressive (they sell these in the gift shop as well). There were also many "arty" touches in the hotel, like art displays in the elevators and in the halls, that made it feel super unique and well worth the price. I also enjoyed the museum; not a huge modern art fan, but I appreciated almost all of the art on display and hope to come in just to look around the next time I am in Louisville, if I am not staying in this hotel again outright!‬
