Although this place is not cheap, it is worth the price of admission.
The place is well-maintained as are all the animals. The displays are varied--some in tanks, others walk-through, others open-air. Lots to see and it takes a few hours for sure.
Really extensive gift shop as well.
Great place to go with kids of any age.

Entry process is a disaster. Fix it Newport! Did advanced ticket purchase. We got there at 10:53 a.m. for 11:00 a.m. entry and still had to wait in line to enter the building. And getting in the actual door, wow what a mess!! Instead of pulling out individuals with a diaper bag into a whole separate line, they had everyone coming in at the same entry point so people were really confused 🤔. Also - it's not the price. Yes our daughter was acting up but we spent $87.46 to be there for 45 minutes plus a separate $6.00 parking garage fee. Not with the price at all! And it was still way to crowded!

A nice Aquarium overlooking the river just a cross from Cinci. Very popular, and surrounded by lots of other stores. Covered parking. Enjoyed it.

This aquarium is not just perfect for families with young children to visit and see, but for people of all ages as well!
There are also walk through tunnels and exhibits such as petting small sharks and penguins. There’s also a gift shop available.

Overcrowded and overpriced.
The aquarium requires tickets to be purchased in advance and utilizes a timed entry. Despite this, it’s insanely crowded. Like can’t get close to the exhibits crowded.
It would be nice if double strollers and massive wagons were banned, especially when it’s so busy.
One and done for us. We’ve been to the Ripley’s aquarium in TN and highly recommend. Much better experience.

We had a great time at the aquarium. The staff were friendly. Plenty of interactive exhibits. Enjoyed the touch tanks and scuba santa

What a great aquarium. I loved the design of paths to walk through the largest tank. It is very well-done, clean and has a great layout with interactive activities for the children.
I've been to 5-10 aquariums. The only reason for 4 stars is it is smaller than Atlanta and a bit less involved than the New England Aquarium.
Excellent exhibits. Go!

I’m not a nature person.
But I can appreciate it in contained safe, I get to stay dry & away from experiencing it spaces like an aquarium.
This place did not disappoint.
The whole process of getting entering, starting & moving through was a little more work that I expected but it could have been the Gen Alphas who were more worried about hair flipping than helping.
The admission rate varies.
My favorite part was the penguins, but also kind of sad that they’re up against glass & appear confused.
Least favorite? The reptiles & glass floor parts where you had no choice but to walk on glass & trust.
The parking is super unclear.
The elevators are oddly small for the venue space as a whole & signage is lacking.
Very cool space to find an aquarium, so family friendly.
We are a family so, we came we saw we left.

Aquarium was nice and well maintained. Visited with a group of adults and only took two hours to walk through.

My wife and I visited this aquarium recently. It is a large facility with many different type of aquatic life to see. Besides a shark tunnel. They have a tunnel for other fish. A great Penguin exhibit. Large Crocodiles, Turtles. A very nice touch tank. Kids areas. A bridge that you can walk over the sharks. A lunch area. Plenty of parking.

Parking is not free. If you park in the garage their is an additional cost of $6.00 on top of ticket cost etc.
Are there lockers or a coat check? Planning on walking from hotel in winter but don't want to be stuck with everything inside the aquarium. If not, would using parking garage be a better option?

Sorry, just saw your question. Believe they did have lockers, and maybe sone on outside. But leaving it in the parking garage is the way to go, as there is literally no where else to park.
