I have been to this place with my family and was warmly welcome by their staff specially Vitthal & Namdeo ..who made sure that our stay is pleasant and safe..The rooms were super comfortable and clean, and everything was nicely decorated and fulfilled our need...we all felt homely..and food was finger licking .. Delicious and typical Indian style food ...and the desert served at the end was superb...I would say my next visit would be for sure again Hidden Village..

Simple, away from city ambience... Lush green with water falls in monsoon... Natural pond with fish spa during winter... Simple food... Every bit of the place is designed with care...very cooperative staff... Must go place for nature lovers

Well Me and My Wife visited this place few weeks back, and as you can see its far from the city life and is a quit place.
There are lots of different birds and its nice to see them around as we dont see them these days. You get a good feel of a jungle and the best part was the natural fish pond, which was a good experience.
Only thing which I did not like was what happened at the Dining table. I Had opted for Non Veg food while booking and during lunch i saw some people eating fish..egg...etc. When I went to ask for it they said its not available, I had to ask them several times why I cnt get it and after standing there for a long time some one from the official staff came and asked me if I had booked for night as well. Upon saying this, he said Ok we will get u what U want.
It was so disappointing to see what happened when I had pay for my Food. The authorities should know who is going to stay there and accordingly serve food to people who come there.

This is a calm and beautiful place close to mumbai.. very close to shahapur station. There is a lot to explore including trekking. You can feel the much needed SILENCE here..!

An awesome place for couples as i saw the types of accommodation and interiors they have done just to make people feel at home. Lovely nature friendly place.

It was our second visit to this place. Me and my wife are loving this place and so are my cousins to whom we had suggesetd this place.
Hidden viallage is in real sense Hidden Jem.
Its a a very nice getaways 1N / 2N destination in Mumbai.
If you want to experience serenity+fun, then you are at right place.

We were looking for an off beat weekend get away from Mumbai in the last week of December 2014 and we found the name Hidden Village in a proximity of 75 Kms from Powai. We booked a room for the Christmas eve, 24th December. Their site clearly said that one shouldn't expect any luxury at Hidden Village as the place is more of a comfortable stay in a village set up and nothing more. We reached the place around 12 noon after a 2 hrs drive. They have small hut type cottages with a little private sit out, a hammock hanging next to the sit out and all around you see tall trees, making a soothing effect. The rooms are decent in size with an attached toilet that has a geyser too. We loved the sit out that's made of bamboo and wood. The stay comes with set meals. The food is basic but freshly cooked tasty enough. One can walk around lazily within the hidden village boundary or just go and sit next to the fish pond dipping feet for a natural fish pedicure. In the evening we stepped out to see a temple nearly. We loved the ambiance there too. All in all for a 1 day/1 nigt trip Hidden Village is a nice choice.

i liked the location & village theme . place is rightly named hiiden village its really hidden with trees .kids enjoyed the most. surely want to visit again

I visited this place with my wife and we were pretty happy with the ambience, food and facilities. They are pretty basic but sufficient. They have retained the natural beauty while making the stay comfortable. Easily accessible by train but we had driven there.
